The light you see commin from the top is the 27w bulb. The other comming from the side its a 10w bulb that I added just before i took the picture.1 27w cfl? B.S.!!! LOL
I can clearly see more light coming out from the top of the pic. Now come on, how much light are you really using?
Well, it is pretty simple in fact. I just cut a hole at the top of the 1 gallon juice container and painted it black. Then I added some hydro solution and a air pump for oxigenation. That simple.man for only three weeks, that plant is a monsterrr. I have always wanted to do hydro. never thought to do it that way. can you explain ur setup, looks simple and easy to make.
I painted black cuz I didnt want light to get in so I could keep algae from growing inside. But I will add some white paint to increase reflection. The walls will be white too (actually this setup was completely unexpected so it definitely needs more refining).Hey using white paint on the outside of the milk container will keep the water temperature cooler and provide a better environment for root growth with less problems. Black absorbs the most light as heat, white simply reflects light better so it doesn't heat up as fast. The same principle applies to the black surfaces around the plant... might think about using something white to reflect light better (so the plant can use it). Otherwise, mylar isn't that expensive and would help you use more of the limited wattage you say you have for lighting.
Yes, 4 weeks and a half. Im starting flowering now, because it getting out of the closet! lolThat is going to be one tall plant. About 4 weeks old now?
