thanks for the info terry you got sum nice looking girls there how much more swelling could i expect with another 2 weeks, i thought the thc was the only thing that would change , but i think its best i do give them another 2 weeks i have been waiting since jan 7th im sure 2 more slow painfull grinding weeks wont hurt one thing that is starting to worry me is i have started to get purple dots on my plants i think i might of given them to much npk i'll up sum pics of it soon

they look done to me , but no one can tell without a scope or at least a piece of glass. thats the only true way to tell. yes some species do get bigger even after their done , so you really want to look closer. i would never go with 50% amber glands , thats just too much degrading for me. not near as tasty. i like 1 or 2% amber myself , but science says they are at their peak when the glands go from clear to cloudy , but before they they start turning amber.

yes there is an oz there , no prob. the pics aint that good so its just a guess , but im thinkin a little over an oz.

Thanks for the info soil i managed to get a lens from an old telescope tube theglands are different shades on most of the plants i thought they would be the same on all as they was all from the same mother any way most of them are still to clear for a chop but the one in the pic that one has about 60% cloudy glands so im going to keep an eye on here i wanted to ask you about putting suger in the water as sumone told me it makes them go fatter have you done this befor ?

go to the organic section and read on molasses. you will have no probs finding TONS of info on carbs (sugar).

yes i always add a carb to my diet , but it will not fatten anything up, it is used to feed the organisms in the soil. when the biology of the soil is very active then your plants are gonna be more healthy in general. the roots have a very symbolic relationship with the dirt unlike hydro.

i dont remember what your using to feed with (because i dont remember shit) but the molasses towards the end of there life can
cause the microbes and the plant to use up all the remaining food in the soil. (vs feeding till the end)

yes i would use a tsp per gallon of molasses for every other watering throughout the whole cycle. it will help to keep the microbes in the soil happy.

i pick um as soon as i start seeing brown/purple glands. if i see a brown gland in 2 or 3 spots on the plant , she has to go. i never wait for 10 or 20% amber/brown , thats just after the plants peak. (its also a preference thang)

What i wanted to know is what would ur guess at how much i could expect here and i have been looking at the tri's and alot are still clear sum cloudly and about 3 amber's as i know there are alot of seed banks with there own rhinos that change at there own rate so i phoned the guy i got them off and he said they are medicine man strains as this is my 1st ever grow i dont know much about the diff versions of rhino is this a good version or did i get the crappy ones lol ;P

I saw a couple "nanners" on pic 28. Better check em all really good for them green/yellow shaped pods that are popping out. Pollen will spread everywhere once they open. It is quite common for them to throw nanners in late flower though.

shit is that wat it is iv got a few of them shall i chop then now as a few are big and i just crushed one to see at it was !! i iust copd one got got over 3 oz's wet tht is ;0) .... ps keyboasrd is broke

yea you gotta be careful with those nannas. did all those come from seeds or a mother ? its probably in the genes , most species these days have them. you will probably have a seed or two in the bunch and they should be female. you'll want to look for a different species till you find the one you want, that one looks very good but the faggot traits makes it not a keeper.

all in all , you did a BEAUTIFUL job for a first grow! people grow for years to get those results

thanks wyt these are all from cuttings i been going back threw pic and seen nannas onweek 7 its now week 9 today and i got some lovly cloudy tri's but no amber and im thinking is it safe to wait longer for sum to turn amber or
chop them now due to the nannas ?

well i aint had much of a prob with nana's myself. yes i have had them (do right now) and yes i have seen a few seeds from them , but i have never seen a nana "ruin a crop". i dont know what will happen if you keep lettin them nana's grow and grow, maybe its possible to ruin a crop but i dont see it. them naners are hard and the pollen does not just fly around like it would had it come from a male.

if you think they still have some time , then go ahead. lettin them naners go for another week or two wont hurt it, but you might get some good beans outta the deal. (not a ton)

now if you got another tried an true species ready to go into the flower room , then yes , get them outta there and clean real good.

and even though i have never had a prob , try to keep your lil babies (in flower) away from the naner plants. just in case.

i sure in the hell wouldnt want the first crop i ever seen ruined from nanas to be yours!

thanks for the info pal i got nannas poking out of my last 3 im going to tleeve them a week longer in there as there are still to many clear tri's but i have chopd my 1st ever 2 and got almost 8 oz off 2 so that was pritty good i got an upload here of the one i chopd last night the purtle leeves are due to a little to much canna npk

CROP 1
eight white rhino's 3 did not make it due to overwater, and ph flucts, and to much ph up also' had to much heat, nutes used.
ionic grow ionic flower and canna npk 13/14 at week 5 till 7, i gave them next to nothing for vegging as in 30ml in a 100 liter tank of ionic grow lasting over 7 weeks thats like no food, managed to over water the rockwool give it to much heat and had problems with with humid and a blockd dripper system that has made me rip halg my hair out NEVER use the dripers that come with the wilma big 8 next grow i will be making my own and a fe other mods anyway back to the current grow i started at jan 7th and it is still ongoing as of april 28th im at day 65' and alot of my tris apear to still be clear and hardly any ambers i got 3 left and have purple leeves on these leeves there are loads of amber tris sum even purple but im guessing this is from when i added to much npk 13/14 i will upload more pics of the purple tri's on the purple leeves later tonight

well one way i know you did a great job is the stems. look at the size of the stem you are holding compared to the big bud hangin off of it. pay attention to other folks stems on their bigger nugs and you will see that you did very good.

CURING is EVERYTHING! the slower it dries , the better it will be.

as for curing im fucking up as soon as i chop the go right in the box then in a cool room for 3-7 days , then into jars with humidity and temp readers i know the main rule wen it stops smelling like wet hey u can smoke it , my prob is wats the best temps and hu when in the boxes drying as they seem to be drying WAY to fast 3 days and sum leeves will crack from being so dry, in the jars the humid is 55-60 temp 75f, do i need to burp the jars if the humid is spot on,dont wory i still do , and my other jars are 40 humid and i cant get it to rise do you have advise on best humid+temp in jars same goes for when upside down in boxes as it seems to be drying way to fast thanks ands wyt )

no im not really much of a "tech" on curing. i have no clue what the humidity is in my jars. i dry it just like you do till its "dry" , then jar it up, and burp it (leave lid off) as needed just so it wont mold.

i think 3 days is fine. it wont be the "best cure" in the world but your dope will run with the top shelfs as long as its treated right in the jar/bag.

my shit is currently taking about 3 days too, which is only one or two days too fast for me. i believe anything longer then 5 or 6 days can result in mold , but i may be wrong. i have always used low humidity grow rooms to dry in, so its always 3 to 5 days. then after about 2 weeks of playing with it in the jar it starts to get that "good cure" feel to it, and you can really start to taste the species rather then the chloraphyll and food. the longer in the jar the better.

I have one chop left i will be doing l8r tonight Mr welshcakes has been in darkness for allmost 36 hours , i thought id try out the nothing but darkness befor a chop on my last plant to help thc .

its going to be sad its my last chop i enjoyd the learning process so much but grow 2.0 is going to make this 1st attempt look like a kid with a bonsai tree . and i would like to also say a big thanks to wyteboi for helping me thru my 1st grow )
