Ya i've actually heard of those things...but u can get a lot more grow by simply inserting a bendy straw into the soil...it supposedly helps from over-watering. With the moisture control stuff however, i've yet to have a watering issue.

i'm deff going to try that bendy straw thing sounds like a good idea...

Hey by the way, i havent been paying any attention to that step child of mine...to be honest, today was probably the 1st time i've examined it in about a week. Well good news, shes back. With a vengeance too. lol I was cutting some old leaves off and just from that my fingers were a little sticky. no joke. This plant holds great promise. Can't wait.

Lots of wet towels in a bucket my friend. Misting the plants bumps it up too. Slow down air flow. If u have an intake putting a wet towel near it helps too. That should do it...

ok so my humidity has stayed at 35 and the temp when the lights are off in the PC is 62, i thought that that might be a little cold so i rapped a blanket around it for the night time too see if that helps. i have one daylight 6500K CFL and a soft white 3000K CFL in the PC. when the lights are on and the side panel is shut it stays right at 75.....perfect.

dang thats still a little dry but it shouldnt hurt em...ya man 75 is perfect. 62 is a little cold but nothin major. From what i understand u dont cause harm to the plant till you expose it to continuous 55 below temps. But the blankets a good idea.

ya i put a piece of bread in the pc and the humidity went up for a little bit but dried out real fast....i dono what to do nothing has worked but i'm not going to freak out to bad.

Ya man i dont know what to say...just keep watering them. lol ya man i just made a hood for 8 cfls. its ghetto as hell but it works pretty effectively. the heat it puts off is a little scary though. i dont wanna cook em'. but my 2 plants i've decided to keep to mother are doing awesome. I'm really proud of myself actually. the one i grew from seed is so bomb, its yummy aroma wakes me up everymorning at 6. lol thats when the fans kick on.

If you put a small cup or bowl of water in there it will boost up the humidity because the water evaporates. Hope that helps!

By they way, how far along is your plant? My plants were planted on the 12th.

i just started the plant in my pc. it just sprouted the other day i'm only going to veg for a couple of weeks and try to do some LST to get the most out of a little area. then i will put her right into a 12/12 light schedule.i'm doing a party cup grow in there soo the 16oz cup shes in is her home for good. hope this adventure turns out good. happy growing man peace

ok so i had three other plants growing in a closet. i rearranged my cloths around and turned one of my bureaus into an ill'n grow space ill post up some pics here in a few.... peace happy growing all
