You really should go with the HPS i am growing 4 plants under one 150 watt Flowering and they look beautiful! got another growing 8 plants in veg stage {room for mistakes lol} on another 150 watt and there shooting up like weeds {drumroll} so 300 watts total for me and its all i needed like 170 dollars in lights{ NEW} 30 dollars in fans {used} sixty in chems and pebbles and rockwool cubes so 220 dollars good hydro set up {manual feed} bang for your buck especially in a tight space.

PS after growing outdoors for six years ...... these girls are freaking fast and fat and i just cant stop staring at them {so sad we have to be apart for 12 hours a day now lol}

dido I cant believe i dont have eye problems lol all i do is stare in tha light smh....but yeah i can agree with everything youve said that HPS is tha shit if you wanna choose one light to use for your entire grow..cheap if you not going for serious wattage and very effective if you make the best out of your space i have 5 plants two flowering and 3 in veg under one 150 watt and two flouros!!!!!! and lovin it!!!!

What should i call this strain....it looks to be sum kinda of kush any suggestions it was from a bag seed of headies seems to be sum haze bud with purple all through it but not tha dominant color.....any suggestions i have 7 more seeeds and cant come up with a name for tha life of me

lookin forward to seein this finish up bro....those babies are lookin good ....also...saw some light questions....picked up my switchable 1k for 200 off craigslist. with hood and bulbs....same deal for the old 600 in my old ass journal here. anyway....nice first grow homie...it only gets better from here. its my firm belief that growing is waaaaay more addicting than smokin....now lets hurry up and get a smoke report on those babies yay yuh

jus started sum new plants and although this is my first grow and i feel like im gonna get sum significant weight i researched for along time and i read alot of things and opinions before i started and jus found a way to do it on my own terms but the key is to say within tha boundaries that the marijuana plants sets and within the boundaries of the best advice ive read....grow on and i thoroughly agree that growing is way more addictive than smoking....grow on!!!! thanks for tha love

having a light meter can be the difference....this is if your working with small wattage...your able to use all the space,find your optimal lighting range and be in full control...5 bucks from loews

alright smoke....just read through your journal...peeped pics...thoroughly impressed for a first round man. dont have a lot of advice for ya...you pretty much doin everything right. if you are gonna up your light size...do a cool tube and you can pretty much do any wattage you want....and dont worry about the power company...buddy of mine is runnin 10k with no issues. anyway..... the one real suggestion i do have is...get rid of the cfl's...they are causing more heat than they are helping out really....dey get hot...you got a hps mayne. thats all ya need . also....thems look like they need more time. with the explosion of height you mentioned im callin sativa or at least a mix...which means you may be waiting a little longer than 8 weeks....check those trichs with a microscope....also got mine off craigslist from a 12 year old girl for 15 bucks lol. and i always say...fuck sexing plants...clone baby....but seriously bro....nice first round. hats off

i do agree with you that those cfls are creating more heat than needed but when tha plants got so big which is something i did not expect at all, i figured i'd add more light for coverage so picked up 2 huge cfls, i grew them in small pots i dont think they are even gallon pots and they made it to over 2 ft so i jus improvised....and on the question pertaining to what kinda bud this might be i do agree that it is sativa influenced maybe about 30 to 40 percent the bottom leaves are huge but the top ones are very skinny and long the bud grows almost like trainwreck...i have the cannibible 2 and saw a couple of strains that look exactly like my plant they are called Apollo, Bullrider, Heroauna and West Coast Skunk #1 i personally think its more like Bullrider...if you look at my pics youll see that tha buds grow out diagonally its like new bud grows from bud that is lower and a lil more mature they grow outward and take on a life of there own adding to a cluster of bud with minimum leavage...sticky as fuck to tha touch and smells like candy when touched but not so much when you just sniff it....I definitely decided to grow tha right bagseed i mean tha shit is blowing me and my closest trusted friends minds i mean everytime they come over they are all like "what tha fuck, i was jus here two days ago and it didnt look like that" this is a blast..
