My grow plan.. autoflower strains

I just ordered 5 different autoflower strains from the single seed centre.. my plan is germinate them in those jiffy peat ball greenhouses with my t12 flourecents untill all have germinated... then i plan to put the seedling in individual 4gallon pots with promix hp as my medium.. i want be able to flower indoors but i was thinking about buying a 400w MH light setup (sumthing cheap) and using it 24/7 during the short 3 week veg state so i can maximize plant growth resulting in higher yield?... atleast thats how im thinking.. during that time i will fert once a week at 1/8-1/4 strength using jacks classic 20-20-20 (peters)... just before flowering i plan to have them outside but maybe still in there pots?... at this stage i plan to use jacks classic 10-30-20 bloomer at 1/8-1/4 strength .. could this work? ADVICE? LIMITED BUDGET

Yes, it'll work as long as temps and other factors are kept in check.....I grow ALL my autos in 4" pots and do quite well....4gal pots are a bunch to dry out between waterings but go for it....during your seedling stage, it's important to not overwatering so the roots are forced to seek......good karma to ya....

To be honest, I've never used any larger than 1 gal.....and all my autos typically yeild in the higher range of breeders recs....I changed down to 4" (qt) with very little change in yeild......I understand that you want to maximize your first grow....just thinking 3 gal is gonna be a lot to dry out between waterings which may lead to overwatering.....I'm sending you a pm.....
