My Grow room/ Lighting (: 1'st grow!

My grow room is a closet, with some modifications, to be a roughly 10x5 room, with a 5x3 grow area and a vegging area. right now for my plants ive got a shop light fluorescent with two bulbs, one warm white, one soft white, with cfl's added for more wattage. This is only temporary and i will be adding a 400w Metal halide. my vegging area/germination area has a blacked out "critter culture" 75w heat bulb to keep them nice and warm Besides medicinal herbs, i will also be growing habanero peppers, jalepeno peppers, basil, and rosemary. My vent system is currently a ducted fan into bringing fresh air from the home and keeping it a stable 75-82 degrees.

Reflector is homemade in my Garage out of a piece of a larger reflector. All my lighting was Free, the 1000w ballast, socket, and metal for the reflector came from some connections with the local school.

Work on lighting efficiency.
I notice a lot of open area that could be useful canopy.

Thanks, only the row underneath the fluoro fixture have plants so far. The circular lamp is a heat lamp for germinating seeds, and the other pics are of my homemade HPS/Mh fixture

Going good. Nothing real interesting. My jalepeno plants have sprouted. haha nordic it is. i hope it works. Guess ill find out today when i go buy a bulb

The light works amazingly! 400 watts is brighter than i thought it would be... holy shit.... Ill put up some pics when i get it in the room. I still need to make it safe haha. Electrical boxes, safing the connections Etc.

Haha the grow room door is so light. Anyone have a good, CHEAP way of lightproofing that? Not 100%, but 75% or more.
