Its not bad at all. I have a 6" air king clip on fan exhausting out the top of the tent. Tent is 2x2x5.3'...other than that just a 6" air king blowing on the canopy..passive intake with vents open down low. Granted you are talking to someone used to working with 1000s and 600s also lol

i'm wanting to put it in a closet but i am gonna be leaving the door open and theres a window there that i can open. i don't wanna run the a/c in fla in the winter for my closet LOL mrs would freeze. i think i will do as you and just use the fan. i have one of those tower a/c-fan units in front of them now :peace:

I find that the tent is actually cooler closed then open. I think it's due to the exhaust being up high and the cool air being drawn in on the bottom. I'm not sure what's above or next to your closet but perhaps you could cut a small hole for a squirrel cage or inline exhaust. That's what I did when I started growing in a 2x4x7 closet... Even a 100cfm fan will work wonders cooling a space if that's all it's doing...now if u want air cooled lights, carbon filters, ect it gets more complex.

Know that feeling... the trick is getting enough stashed to last til the next harvest...then u never run out lol

hahah ya it looks super tasty :D only problem is the yield hahah wish i had more bud to harvest. thats why next grow is going to bea sog with 8 females and under 168w in a 1x1.5 space and 2 ft tall

doh sounds good...i am wafflng on whether to go with more, stronger cfls or small hps in flowering closet. i think i have the vegging thing down and the 16 26watt cfls in there do just fine :-) i just need to beef up the Madonna clones in the closet and get some light for the brazil and exodus cheese that are ready to flip. the clones are like think colas. i pulled them out a little while ago and damn, those buds are all growing together up in those little bushes. i didn't realize how thick they were becoming. if you use a high watt cfl you don't have to get it right down on the plants right?

right but they also produce a lot of heat. My 85w CFLs read 155F on the surface. 2 of those is almost as hot as a single 250 hps with remote ballast. and HPS put out higher lumens/watt

the 42w bublbs dont even get that hot just a slight discomfert when you touch it so i just get them as close to the plant as possible without it acually touching the bulb, i think thats why im getting so much out of so little wattage, next grow the plants will have like 3 inchs between them and the 4 42w bulbs

i hear ya, i put them practically right on my leaves and cfls do get hot, like someguy said, i didn't think they would. if i do hps i was gonna probably go vert...i just don't know LOL
