My HLG 350R light schedule.

*Week 1 of Veg. @ 1st click on dial/dimmer knob. *Week 2- 3 of Veg. @ 2 clicks. *Week 3 Veg. - week 2 of Flower @ 4 clicks. *Week 3 - 5 of Flower @ 5 clicks. *Week 6 of Flower @ the 7 notch on knob. *Week 6 - 8 (or till Harvest) Full Power @ the 9th click / knotch on your HLG 350R Dimmer Knob. **For Veg: 24" above plants. ***For Flower: 15" above tops. Of course this is just a schedule with the new lights I'm using that works great for me. Happy New Years & Happy growing. Pic is of my 1st HLG 350R Harvest. Northern Lights from seed. Nirvana.

This will def be helpful for people, especially because HLG lights seem to do more than they advertise. On both my 65w and now my 300bspec, both have to be dimmed down at maximum recommended hanging height or they stress my plants out.

What was the size of your space? Very nice results.

Right On. I've had a few that recently bought 350R's message me on intensity advise. So thought I'd make a post for all. If they care to use it. This was just 1 plant. B.t.w. *I'm really diggin this light.

See my grow diaries in lank above. I tried to keep track of the dims there. I Vegged her long time. Got her nice & BIG for flower. The HLG 350R helped too. lol. Cheers.

Just ordered one of these, and this is very helpful information.

I'ma have to check my dimmer. My 350R puts out no light at all on the first click. I'll have to pull it out during the dark period and check it.

I measure the ppfd & calc the DLI anyway to set the intensity, and don't really pay any attention to what click the dimmer is on. YMMV

No, you're right. Mine as well, does nothing until the 2nd click. I meant to edit this post. I will now.

I'll probably check it anyway, because now I'm suspicious. LOL Edit: I need to move it a few inches more away from the wall anyway because leaves are touching the wall.

REVISED! *Week 1 - 3 of Veg. @ HLG2 (2nd click on dial/dimmer knob). *Week 4 of Veg. -to week 2 of Flower @ HLG4 (4 clicks). *Week 3 & 4 of Flower @HLG6 (6 clicks). *Week 5 of flower @ HLG7 (7 clicks) *Week 6 - 8 (or till Harvest) Full Power @ the 9th click / knotch on your HLG 350R Dimmer Knob. **For Veg: 24" above plants. ***For Flower: 15" above tops. Of course this is just a schedule with the new lights I'm using that works great for me. You can adjust it a bit more to your likings. It has worked GREAT for me. Cheers!

Is this schedule still working out for you? I just got this light, and looks like I’m getting some foxtails, but I don’t know if it’s the light, or something else. PPP 70% sativa. Week 7 of 12/12. I’ve got it on 7th notch. 18” above canopy. 80/82 degrees.

Yes, it is still the schedule I use currently. See the revised schedule a few threads above this one. Thats a pretty girl man. I'm pretty new to all this.. so not sure what strains like to do what just yet. Although this light intensity schedule has worked great on my last few grows.

Thanks, I set it on the 7 notch, 320w, and next Saturday will go to full power.

This Santa Cruz Blue Dream X Triangle Kush is strong like bull! So I went ahead & put er on the HLG 5th notch already. Then when get into around 2 weeks of flower I'll put er on the HLG6. I love this light. Good stuff!
