My hydroponics grow box design NEEDS PRO CRITIQUEing

hey guys, i WOULD love advice on the hydroponics area,what ive done is taken a fileing cabinet and turned into a little secret grow box, 2 ft tall 15 inches wide, ive got a 15 qrt rubbermaid tub in their, and have fitted 5, 3" mesh pots into it which i will plant the seed in ready grow super plugs then transport them into the hydroton. the rubbermaid willed with water (but how full?) and i have an air pump set up and ready also 9ill get nutes at the store) i have two fans 1 intake and outtake, and at the top of the box i fited a power strp on each side which i have gotten the attachemnts to plug in 3, 23wtt cfls,a nd the other side ive got 3, 26wtt cfls, (plenty of light right?) my main concern and focus here is to grow lowryders while keeping them as small and healthy and potent as possible, as you can see im limited to space. here are pictures. PLZ ADVISE MAN this is my first time growing ever.

that looks real cool. the only thing i would suggest is find a way to hang the light so you can move it up and down. cuz the will out grow that real quick just reaching for the light. but other than that, it looks nice.

i wish i could but i dont really have an option, im limited to the space of that box and thats about it =/

to move the lights up and down i would drill a SMALL PIN hole thro the top of the table... and use a piece of string to adjust it..

i could probably manage that, how important is it that im able to adjust the lights? with the six bulbsin their would it not be getting enough light? also idk if you could help in this area but im i found the seends i want and the ordering method says internation NO signature required- track & trace 7.50 euro.....what does it mean by track and trace?

paint your container or get another container ...roots don't like light.

my fault....i didn't read the post right....i seen the pic with the 1 bulb and thought it was just that one. but an even better idea is to place phone books under the res to get them closer and take away to lower.

try mixing them up a little so the light will be even if you get what i'm saying. your plant could end up with different effects on the different sides.

ya i see what your saying, ill do that, another question tho, when should i start adding nutes to the water? should that be done as soon as i put the water in the system?

i wait till they are about 6 inches and a good healthy root system, before giving them full strength... but u can start giving the 1/4 of the recommended nutes after a few nodes are showing

and remember more do not mean better....you can kill your plants off one dose. i learned that the hard way.

once you get some seeds in there try like quarter strength nutes
