My lamp light is leaking in through exhaust fan

Any ideas of how I can stop light from my lamp at night from leaking into my grow tent during dark hours? My first thought is to move the exhaust to the other side, but then the air would just be blowing into a wall. Not sure what my options are here. Thanks 20170505_230459.jpg

I'm thinking about replacing this cheesecloth filter with a black plastic trash bag with some holes cut through it for ventilation.

What I have so artistically created out of black construction paper with a nail:20170506_020620.jpg

It serves the purpose and gets the job done!

Light trap, put two adjustable elbows in oppossing positions, painting black inside helps too.

Or another approach, motorized damper. on a thermostat, Set the thermostat to only come on in daytime temps, at nights it will be closed.

Personally I'd of extended the duct not by a lot just enough so light doesn't pass through, plus you be able to angle the hot air to where you want it...
