It's not just the snowflakes. I know plenty of older people who are all about me, me, me. It's a sign of social insecurity. When you can't afford housing, food, Healthcare, and still live a comfortable life, without staying in debt or working yourself to death, you become more aggressive in personal survival. Combine that with personal isolation because of social media, and is easy to see why more people have a self centric view of life.Sadly today that is true more often than I'd like to see. I do wonder what will be the consequences of raising an entire generation of snowflakes.
