Hope everyone is off to having a good weekend! First time grower here just figured I would post some pictures of my new seedling and ask what others thought if they felt like leaving a comment or giving any advice! It would be greatly appreciated! I soaked the seeds for about 18 hrs, then transfer to the paper towel method for about 48 hrs. At that point each seedling had about 3/4 - 1 in of taproot. From there I put them into Root Riot pods. After about 48 hrs in the Root Riot the taproot was sticking out the bottom of the pod. So at that point I decided to transplant them into a 6 in Jiffy Pot. which is were I am at today. I did add moisture to the Root Riot pods when I transferred the seedling into them... but with the leaves curling I was thinking I might have over watered at that point. Although the taproot that broke through looked good and healthy with decent growth over that time period. Since I was worried about over watering, when I transferred to the 6 in jiffy pot I did not water the added soil yet. Was thinking it might be a good idea to allow the soil to absorb some of the moisture from the Root Riot pod first. The soil I used in the Jiffy Pot is a 1/2 and 1/2 of FF ocean floor and happy frog. They are currently 4 feet under a 315 CMH adjusted to 50% with no humidity dome. The current Temp 76 degrees and Humidity 48%. I guess my questions are at this point is should I water the newly added surrounding soil and also should I still be placing them under a humidity dome? also as far as watering the only used has been bottled water at about 6.3 PH nothing added. Thank you ahead of time for taking the time to read my post and also if you decide to leave a comment or advice Thank You Very Much!!
