My lovely ladies are drooping like a mofo, help me give them love!!!!

The pics below are of my 3 lonley yet lovely ladies! As you can see they are gettin' they droop on. I don't know why.

I was supposed to get clones from a friend but they had spider mites....so as pissed as I am I suppose I am lucky for they got caught BEFORE coming to live with me.

Here is my setup

1000w hortilux eye super hps
DarkRoom II Pro DR150

These ladies are in 3L airpots AND I have a bad fungus gnat issue.....I can't do the sand option since I'm using airpots, kinda sucks. I have applecider vinegar ina big bowl in the room as well as I vac them outta the air a few days a week. Could that be the cause of my droopy's?

It seems they get a lil' droopy when they are hungry, I feed them and the next morning they are MORE droopy....only to recover to less droopy a day or so later. They haven't yet looked super healthy, standing at attention and whatnot.

I give them 2 gallons of water every 3 days. Could I be overwatering them? I wait til they are bone dry before feeding again.


Thoughts, answers, prayers? All is appreciated. Thanks

if fungas gnats don't get enough dead material to chew on they start going for the roots sometimes...you need to break their 3 week incubation cycle...I used some sort of powder from the hardware store...sprinkled a few tablespoons on the top of the soil and watered it...within a month I have no more fungas gnats...I also used flypaper strips to catch the flying ones(had to replace them every couple days as they got covered)...I was underwatering to try and kill them off that way, but the plants were drooping like a mofo...

I suppose I could have gone for a more natural approach, but I said fuck it and spent $8 for a bottle of bug killer that is also suppose to coat the root system and prevent a reinfestation for 3 months :D

Sounds like Diatomaceous earth is what you used. I have some everywhere...it kills any soft bodied insects. Silica sand is also another name for it.

What were the names of the shit you used to kill the gnats?!?!? I gotta do something thats for sure!

no this was a chemical killer...and I'm too lazy to go down in the basement to see what it was lol :D

Yeah I did some reading about that stuff, not only does it work they say but MAN does it sounds freakin cool. I dig me some science.

Anyway, any thoughts about using that with airpots? I mean all those lil' holes on the sides, I surely can't put Diatomaceous earth there, in each and every tiny hole.....right?

I think jumping on airpots before making sure I didn't have bugs wasn't the brightest idea. I might go the funky chemical route that massah suggested. I don't know how else to kill those lil' effers w/o question.

My buddy mentioned a PPM meter. I thought those were only for hydro. Yep, Ima noob. You suggest getting one of those?

I use my PPM meter all the time and I only grow in soil so far(want to try hydro at some point though)...its nice to know wtf is in the nutrient solutions I'm giving my plants...so I don't need to measure it...i just pour in...check PPM...etc...until I get it where I want it :D
