My Mexican Ditch Weed

HOLY SHIT those cola's are great for the size of the pots. How do you get proper nutrient uptake with the roots undoubtedly filling every possible millimeter in those things??? lol The cola's are a little skinny, but very big. Impressive to say the least!
Oh yeah, it will be solid roots but yet they don't become root bound or root rot....it's the wonder of hempy

the pic is of a previous grow (also in 2L pop bottles), you can see just how solid the roots are

Agree, the cola's are a bit skinny, especially two of them but they are starting to fatten up

ISK you have outdone the hempy standard, and this run is much better than previous, (which I assume these root are from)
Less than 1/2gal of medium with that much plant above, you've broken the hempy system standard. I'd throw another rep your way but the system won't let it happen.

Hey Watts....those root pics were last year's HPS grow (Early Wonder Skunk auto's), was just showing an example of hempy roots

.....my Mexican Ditch weed is still growing, at least 2 to 3 more weeks

The sunny weather has come to town and I like it and so does the runt, but she only gets an hour or so before her 5 pm bedtime. (sometime I let her stay up 15 minutes latter)

Some say that flipping back & forth from HPS to sunlight can increase the chance of becoming hermie but if it does it does, then I will learn a lesson.

I think the plant does well in the sun....fresh cool ocean breeze with lovely warm sunshine, what more could a gal ask for?

Watts...she does seem to like the sun, and is further ahead than the other 3 that don't get any sunshine

dajosh.....I'm guessing end of April, as they are still mostly white hairs and the trichromes are mostly clear....but the runt will likely mature sooner

Took some pics last night and this morning without the HPS on.

They are dropping leaves everyday, but I'm more concerned small amount of trichromes, which leads me to believe it won't be killer pot

The colas are filling in, as they are rather top heavy now and have added additional support

The runt is really advancing so much faster than her 3 big sisters, but they don't receives the sunshine that the little sun-whore gets

Her hair are turning red.... and milky trichromes are appearing.....figure this gal may be a week ahead of the others

Looking good dude!!
Have you seen any of my plants i've had in 3l bottles?I've had some big ones.I get a lot of weed for using so little soil....and also they seem to grow nice and tall, not a lot of side branching(popcorn buds)...which also makes them easier to trim

cool...yes mine have a similar amount of frost which is much less than I'm used to seeing with Indica strains

I have not tried any taster buds, as I'm never in that big of rush plus they are not ready yet.

Your cola-bud looks good, but I see your leaves have not fallen off like mine, I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong with this grow

cheers

I have not seen your plants, can you post a link
BTW: these are grown as hempy (3:1 perlite/vermiculite) with only an inch of soil on top (soil-capped is optional with hempy, most do not do this)

they look excellent, I'm sure the high will be great.

I really disagree with the "random bagseed sucks" arguement. Just because it doesn't have a cute little name doesn't mean it's no good. All cannabis plants have some genetic heritage, and these are more than likely landrace sativas, as sold by various seed co's and are highly prized for their old school effects.

Yeah I am really looking forward to smoking these gals, as the pot they came from was that old school taste...time will tell how good they turn out

So if it does turn out to be something you'd want to grow again, do you have any more seeds?
I brought home 92 seeds from the 1/4 ounce purchased in Mexico, so I have about 86 left over.

The smell of these plants is not bad at all which is great for growing in my apartment, so if it's good smoke I may grow them again next winter.

I purchased some auto-fem's for my 2014 indoor/sunshine grow...plan on using a 11 litre hempy bucket
