My Mother Plant! What now?

I have a mother plant that is approx 3 1/2 feet tall by 2 1/2 wide, I'm thinking of trying to flower her out now that she has given me some good babies! I have never flowered out a mother.... would I just treat it as a regular plant ready for flowering or what?! Any help would be nice! thanks...

If it has been in the same pot for a long time you might want to cut down the rootball and transplant into some fresh soil. After about a week it will be fully recovered and ready to flower. If it is a good strain make sure to keep a clone for the new mother. Unless you are taking a lot of cuttings at a time you can just keep your mother plant bonsai size.

i second the suggestion of root pruning above. maybe also try to prune for shape, as mothers can get kind of unruly and all over the place.
