My Motivation Fem Hermied at 7 Weeks Flowering?

on the bottom half the plant there is seeds forming!??? it was a clone of a fem mother plant.my conncern is im growing a Chronic and a motovation both are 7 weeksa almost 8 weeks flowering/budding..Everything looks nice but yea i noticed this today! im worried its going to herm the chronic i mean there isnt anything i can do about it but there 2 plants under the ligths togather touching..the chronic has no signs yt of hermied or pollination.. what do i do? do i start flushing the motovation which finishes around 8-9 weeks..do i finish out the last 2 weeks? how do i protect my chronic???

It might pollinate the chronic, but won't cause it to hermie. A plant hermies on its own, it's not contagious.

I'd let them finish out. Seeds take several weeks to fully form, so you might have some immature seeds @2 weeks, but really no big deal. IMO

I allow 4 weeks when I'm making seeds and up to 5 weeks in most cases. But, I'm looking for fully mature seeds.

Primarily as far as I've researched (which admittedly isn't far, I'm still new) plants hermie because of soil pH. Grab some litmus paper and give it a test, you may have to bring your pH down (make it more basic, not so acidic) in future plants if you don't want this to happen. As far as harvest goes, when you're ready to harvest just cut the buds off, and leave the plant intact with the seeds still growin, and hopefully it pulls through and doesn't die because of the shock of losing half it's mass, then you'll have both healthy seeds and some good chron!

Plants usually herm because of a combination of stress and poor genetics. huge ph changes, high temps, things like that can force a plant to herm. Good genetics limit these possibilities, obviously because a strong plant has more resistance to problems. Its nature, and in nature most cannabis plants will push out seeds/ hermi at the very end of their cycle. Its like a last ditch effort to re-create life. Ive gotten seeds from letting plants grow out past maturity(sp) and ive gotten hermis that pop male and female flowers within the first month. Id say if it hermid bad, and theres pollen sacks all over the place, maybe get rid of her. Make hash. If u just find like one pollen sack or its just producing seeds in the bottom nugs... than youll probly be fine to finish it out. Do u have any pictures? I also feel personally that feminized strains are problematic. You gotta think that messing with genetics enough to produce female specific strains is a little funky. Its like a woman taking rediculous hormone supplements during pregnancy, to make sure she gets a daughter. She might end up with triplets all female but atleast one of em is gunna be retarded... I grew Berry White (feminized) turned out to be some of the best ive ever grown. but the strain is so un-stable ive done 4 turns of it and everyone has turned out different. Stick with the stone-age strains that havent been alterd in 100 years. You know those ones are always going to be solid for you. and FUCK hermies!

oh and no! the seeds from the herm will be herms geneticly now. if it has male pollen sacks, and spreads pollen to your other plants, those seeds should be okay. But i would watch em closely if u grow em.

yea its all in the bottom i harvested her today..id say i probly got close to 20 seeds which ronb anit to bad right??? and the seeds arent good to use???

the scissor hsh was off the hook!!! way better than my mother moto was! this is a clone ..but yea made canna butter w trimmings give them a 7 from 1-10 scale1 ..i ended up w 2 half oz i think..its about the same as the mother was. but so crystaly and so fuely fruit dank smell! the high is very good in head then hits you quick q couchlock but w energy..lol

I have the same thing Just seeds on the bottom of one or 2 of my 6 plants didn't see no balls at all? I'm at the 6 weeks flowering so I figure its too late to do anything? whatever is pollinated is to late I think it was just the plant by the door of my closet that may gotten a little light leak that did it!

i think it was alast ditch effort to produce new life .stressing itself to make a seed..i dunno thou. it had pollinated a lil bit of the chronic to.but its all good
