My new set up for hard to reach areas

Ever have trouble reaching that plant in the back of your garden? Want to move your plants around but there just isn't enough room?

Well imagine a rotating "table" like a lazy susan in your kitchen...







I can fit 7 Seven Gallon containers with the bottom water catchers on here, behind me was a smaller one that can fit 4 seven gallon pots. I will be running a 600w hps over the 7 and a 400w hps over the 4, but we are still have a bit more work before we are ready to go.

But everything you see there can be gotten at home depot fairly cheap

Your idea is keen. I'm guessing 4 feet across? change the board, now. then it will good. for all the work you did you need to go spend like $20 or something on a way better board, like a 5/8" at least. remember you're putting weight and moisture on there, 2 enemies of OSB. Then your idea will be tits. or 3/4" nothing smaller. think weight weight weight

thats advantac NOT OSB, plenty rugged enough i can stand on the platform and spin myself around

yes i have thought about a motor making it spin, maybe i will yet, just for the fun of it, glad some of you found this interesting i'm physched to test it out

I agree, cool beans! I did one with a motor once. Used a motor from a grill rotisserie, work great. The speed of them is just right. +rep

Wrong, the OSB these days with exterior glue will last uncovered outdoors for a few years at least. You may get a bit of swelling around the edges but thats about it. I would cover it though with some panda film. Bouce that light back up.

Yeah, or you can put it on an old record player with a 16 speed.
