My nute mix has got to be overkill/unbalanced

So, I'm looking to refresh my nute mix/regimen and feel that the one I've been running is just nonsense. I adopted it a couple of years ago from a fellow grower (I know, I know) and it just seems like something that was just thrown together. I'm in week 6 of an 8 week hybrid strain, and everything looks good, but the fact that I'm running so many parts and have to cut them significantly to get my PPM down seems wrong.

Growing in 5 Gallon buckets currently filled with 8" rockwool blocks surrounded by rockwool croutons. I run low numbers and just veg longer.

GH Micro/Grow/Bloom (per directions)
Botanicare CalMag (veg-mid flower)
Botanicare Liquid Karma
Botanicare Pure Blend Tea
Botanicare Pure Blend Pro (mid-late flower)
Fox Farms Open Sesame/Beastie Bloom/Cha-ching (This run I'm replacing Cha-Ching in late flower with MOAB)
Sugaree Sweetener

My next run will be in Coco-coir, since I've used it in the past with good results, plus I like the less frequent waterings and easier disposal.

Heading off to read some info to become educated on nutrients, but if anyone has any advice on whats wrong with this picture, I sure would appreciate the input. I just don't have much experience with nutes to know what I'm doing right and wrong.

Thanks.

Do you need more then the GH Micro/Grow/Bloom & big bud maybe?? seems daft to have all those possible nut lockout problems caused by excessive enthusiasm in the food department. KISS & less is more iare my motos
Im just starting the GH FOR THE FIRST TIME, SO IT WILL NBE GOOD TO FOLLOW AND MAYBE HELP EACH OTHER OUT with any problems. I have "afgooey, a lowryder and auto ak47 IIRC"?? at presant lowryder no happy with its soil to new hydro home

When I used to dabble in hydro I used the lucas formula. Never had any nute related issues and its about as easy as it gets. All it was was gh micro and bloom in veg 5ml micro and 10 ml bloom per gallon. Flower was 8ml micro and 16 ml bloom per gallon and that's it.

OP it does seem like overlap/overkill. You're using GH trio and switching to Pure Blend Pro (Bloom), or using both in flower? You could stick with one base nutrient solution. Using Pure Blend Tea in conjunction with bloom base nutes is overkill. And FF solubles are arguably a waste of money. MJ doesn't need that much P to produce quality/yields. Switching to coco sounds like a good plan. I thought about 100% coco, but am happy with the ease of use and cost of Sunshine Advanced Mix #4. On finishers, run Liquid Karma till mid flower and finish with blackstrap molasses. You can get a gallon of Golden Barrel on Amazon for twenty bucks.

I chose Botanicare and am happy with the results. I use Pure Blend Pro Grow/Bloom (for hydro), Liquid Karma, CalMag+, Silica Blast, molasses. Using their expert schedule I feed every watering using 50% of their suggested and have lush green veg with no burn, and nice blooms. One could go 75-100% strength depending on strain. A very decent regiment, it's easy, relatively inexpensive, it works, and it's mostly organic.

Yeah, using GH bloom and PBP Bloom at the same time. I don't add the pure blend pro until week 4 though.

The bloom is what got me scratching my head on this one though. Using GH Bloom, and Pure Blend Pro Bloom, and Beastie Bloom. How much Bloom do you really need, jeez. :)

I didn't know what the Tea really provided, but never suspected that it conflicted with the base nutes.

Tea not really conflicting, just kinda not necessary and adding to ppms. Good luck with however you go, def a worthy investigation you're doing
