My Organic~ Coco Journey

Well I made a thread over in Organic's but there isn't anyone in there. Guess I'll just stay over here. lol. I ditched all the chemical's and went with Aurora Innovation's or Root Organic's Grow, Bloom, and Trinity. Along with there Phosphorous Bat Guano, Marine Cuisine Mix, Budswel Liquid Guano, and Epsom Salt's. Along with some earth juice ph up.

I have most of my girl's in Sunshine mix #4 but there are a few in just a mix of coco and perlite so there not ph buffered like the sunshine mix. I fed them at the low ph with no ill effect's for a couple days or so but I didn't want to chance it.

Here's an Aurora I had in straight perlite and dripper's but I took it apart and put them into a flood table and now they have a coco cap so I can control watering a little better.



I've got HSO's Sour Blueberry (four to the right) and DNA Genetic's Cannalope Kush (five to the left) vegging out for a bit longer so I can cut a couple clones off each and then off to flowering.



Then I've got the Cheese Quake ready to go in the white square pot's. Cutting clones off them today and going into flower tonight. All the bag's are Aurora and some Purple Wreck just vegging out for next crop.



Ive got 9 more girl's in flowering just need to get some new pics of them. I've got 5 more Aurora, 2 Blue Widow, 1 Purple Wreck, and 1 Strawberry Cough.

lol. thanks man. I have a old decent camera but it seems to only take a nice picture when it wants to. lol.

There's like no one in here besides you. Seems like if people see organic its like f* that. Really though since I've switched I've found myself doing less. I make guano tea's do to me growing in coco with no nutes in it. I don't need to even feed them really in veg so far I've noticed. I top dress every other week and feed with tea's once to twice a week now. Plain water feedings every other day I don't feed. I had sign's of nitrogen overdose so I kicked back on tea's which is easier for me anyway so I'm happy.

I have grown enough weed and smoked so many grower's weeds that especially after growing it yourself you know what the outcome will be if you do something. Like not flushing using chemicals. You will get a harsh hit and a shit ass after taste and the weed won't ash up properly and burn to a gray just stays black like charcoal.

Botanicare you have some lenience because its organic based so you don't need to flush and still get great flavor is what I noticed anyway. Even with chemicals I just can't find the flavor I'm looking for. I think the weed should taste as good as it smell's. Hopefully its smell's right and dank of course. lol. I find that with a flushed chemical bud that you get a hint of flavor and just smoothness from there out.

I culled a weak plant I had in my tent and it was only like at 5 weeks with shitty small buds but honestly I smoked it and the taste was there I could tell. So with a few more weeks of flower with no flush either we'll see what happens. I'm only cutting one or two plants so I won't be worrying about too much really that I can't change for the next. I have two weeks in between each of my harvest right now for about the next two to three months. Varying upwards from 2,2,5,5,14, and then 9. Then I have a big harvest planned for about 20 or so hopefully.

Going buy myself a spin pro as well tonight hopefully. I HATE trimming if I haven't mentioned that yet. lol.

Hey man it looks great. I am running something similar, I mix 4 parts coco to 1 part perlite some worm castings and some processed sea kelp and some phc biopak powder. This will be my first attempt running organic coco so We shall see how it all turns out. Im subbed

How bout an update? Im growing in Sunshine Mix #4 right now but I was wondering more about your organic coco stuff. Have you tried mixing it with the sunshine yet? I thought about it just to cut some costs.
