My organic mix

Here's my first shot at an organic mix. Got the soil cooking now.

Let me know what you think. Critism/help is welcome!

Started seedlings in:
(9gal) total
Sea soil - 10L
Peat moss - 10L
Earth worm castings - 10L
Perlite - 8L
Dolomite lime 1 tsp per gal

Will transplant to:
(Approx 21 gal base mix)
"Sea soil" - 1 bag (32L)
Peat moss - 10L
Perlite - 20L
Earth worm castings - 20L
Gaia All Purpose (4-4-4) - 1.5 cups
Gaia green kelp meal (1-0-3) 1.5 cup
Gaia green glacial rock dust 1.5 cups
Groundskeepers pride Bone and blood meal (7-5-0) - 1 cup
Gaia Alfalfa meal (3-0-3) - 1.5 cups
Dolomite lime- 1.5 cups

Also here is my tea mix havnt used it yet have it bubbling right now.

For Foliar spray and root drench.

Tea:
2 tsp kelp meal
3 tsp alfalfa meal
5 tsp EWC
1 tsp Glacial rock dust
2 pumps kelp extract
1 tsp blackstrap molasses

are these measurements per cubic foot or gallon or total?
I personally would leave out the alfalfa, and blood and bone meals and instead add neem meal and crab meal.
Also whats in the all purpose?
I'd add more minerals too

Sorry, those are total. And the tea is per gallon, than diluted with 1 part water 1 part tea. I cannot for the life if me find neem cake or crab meal locally. I've been searching far and wide.

Scratch that, buildasoil ships to canada for crazy cheap. So I out in an order for some coconut water powder, aloe powder, agsil 16h, crustacean meal and neem meal.

Here's what's in the All Purpose:
Guaranteed Minimum analysis:
Total Nitrogen (N) 4%
Water Soluble Nitrogen 3.2%
Water Insoluble Nitrogen 0.8 %
Available Phosphoric Acid (P2O5) 4%
Soluble Potash (K2O) 4%
Sulphur (S) 2.3%
Calcium (Ca) 4.5%

Ingredients: Alfalfa meal, bone meal, blood meal, glacial rock dust, mined potassium sulphate, fossilized carbon complex, rock phosphate, greensand, kelp meal, gypsum.

Pretty much what I already added lol.

i'd say you are about right on the nutrient amounts, but I stand by my original advice, i'd leave out the bone and blood meal, alfalfa, and all purpose ferts.
Add more minerals, add neem meal, crab meal, maybe some oyster meal

what is fossilized carbon complex?
quite the fancy term... would that be DM?
And it does have some good minerals in that all purpose, but how much of it is minerals? one of the reasons I don't like mixed nutes. I do like rock phosphate, gypsum and greensand

Yea I wish it told you how much of what was in it. I've heard great things about Gaia that's why I went with it.

Here's what clackamas cootz says on the FCC in Gaia:

"Fossilized Carbon can refer to a lot of things - coal, oil or even natural gas. FC can be the fossilized remains of dead plants - Carbon

But what it probably being added to this mix is Lignite (Leonardite) which would qualify as a 'Fossilized Carbon Complex' and unprocessed it is a very inexpensive material to use. Leonardite is used to create Humic acids with alkaline solutions"

oh I use it, just not as a soil amendment, I love it as a catalyst for my compost pile, and I also love it for a vege tea (or early in flowering), I just prefer other things in my soil mix. I might be a lil paranoid, but now that I have my mix dialed in, I/m apprehensive to add something that potent. It's a great amendment though, I just like my neem, kelp, crab meal and insect frass mix.
I do admit, my mix is more catered to my own needs, with IPM being a big part, hence the chitin and neem amendments
