These are my plants that have been outside through out storms and freeze and survived because my greenhouse. As you can see from my first picture the plants have really stretched so I replanted as many as I could. They are all under 12 hour (supplemental) light to keep them from flowering before the spring comes. They are now in 3 gallon containers that should hold them till they are planted into the ground.

Are you going to put those all on the ground in your back yard and are they feminized seeds? How maney females are you hoping for this year?

They are just some seeds from my friend so I'll have male and female plants, I plan to keep 1 male and kill the rest so I will probably have 15 -20 females if luck is on my side and yeah they will all be going in the ground after the last real freeze.

Nice sounds like a good plan are you doing a guerilla grow in the woods or you have a huge backyard? Ha

Keep in mind, if they get taller than the fence a neighbor can complain and have them removed.. If i were you i would make those plants as bushy as possible.

When they get larger I drill a whole through them, and run a wire through all of them about a foot up, the plants never get hurt by them and heal around the wire, that way no one can try to steal one. Because they are all attatched together. It's very simple and also is something to tie down branches so the plants grow wide and not tall.

Once they are big enough i can see that working awesome! People constantly snap the stems and bend them and even cut them off so why is this such a big deal? an early veg like this will have at least a 2 inch diameter stem so there is no way it will hurt it.. Consider it a piercing for a plant :leaf:

yeah a year a go I had a plant stem the size of my fist so I figured that the plant could survive it. I mean think about how much we top and cut the plants a hole about the size of a thick noodle does nothing. Have you ever seen a tree grow around chain link fence? Its like the same thing. I also am putting up a fence around them made of chicken wire that I will let pole beans and tomatoes grow on so its like a natural wall. And you can never be to safe without motion detectors in the night time haha

Yea, my next door neighbors oak tree has a huge piece of rubber just sticking out of the trunk. Idk how it got there or what it was used for but i will try to take a picture of it tomorrow to show you guys, it will leave you questioning if rubber grows on oak trees haha. Where on the plant are you gonna put the wire? Cause someone could just as easily chop them right above the hole and take em when they are damn near ready for harvest.

I was thinking a foot up, kinda in the foliage so you can't really see it. It won't stop anyone but will slow them down. They could just break off colas. Its just something to keep them semi safe

You are wasting your time putting wire through your plants. If I was a ripper I would be hitting large colas only. That just makes your wire a nice stalk protector. :)

check out driveway alerts from harbor freight if you are worried about rippers...putting holes in stems will cause unneeded stress....

Ill put more stress on my plants by topping them every other week until I have a huge amount of colas. Its just a thought I dont want someone trying to steal a plant. I Am highly aware that my colas are probably going to be the first to go in a ripper attack ha. Im just being overly cautious. I am constructing a chicken wire wall that will be sure to stop people from being to close to my plants without being fucked up. I just dont live in the best area to grow pot so I try to be safe

Not all rippers are experienced haha.. It will most likely be a group of teenagers who have no clue how weed actually grows and just try to rip up the whole plant so by putting wire through the plants will definately narrow down the suspects.
