Once a frog that lived in a well bragged to a turtle that lived in the Sea.

"I am so happy!" cried the frog, "When I go out, I jump about on the railing around the edge of the well.
When I come home, I rest in the holes inside the wall of the well.
If I jump into the water, it comes all the way up to my armpits and I can float on my belly.
If I walk in the mud, it covers up my flippered feet.
I look around at the wriggly worms, crabs, and tadpoles, and none of them can compare with me.
I am lord of this well and I stand tall here. My happiness is great.
My dear sir, why don't you come more often and look around my place?"

Before the turtle from the Sea could get its left foot in the well, its right knee got stuck. It hesitated and retreated. The turtle told the frog about the Sea.
"Even a distance of a thousand miles cannot give you an idea of the sea's width; even a height of a thousand meters cannot give you an idea of its depth.
In the time of the great floods, the waters in the sea did not increase. During the terrible droughts, the waters in the sea did not decrease.
The sea does not change along with the passage of time and its level does not rise or fall according to the amount of rain that falls. The greatest happiness is to live in the Sea."

After listening to these words, the frog of the shallow well was shocked into realization of his own insignificance and became very ill at ease.

no hard feelings folks, everyone's entitled to their opinion, my man there who thinks it looks like hemp just probably hasn't seen any straight up landrace sativas growing near the equator before...

had a question, would general hydroponics line be a suitable chemical line for a coco grow? i was also considering starting an aeroponics setup after seeing seemorebuds' video, fucking wow

PLEASE ADVISE PEOPLE!!

also, had to cut my biggest indian landrace as it was just getting worse and worse and i wanted to use the space productively instead of trying to keep one plant alive...on the other hand, here's another indian plant of mine looking beautiful, probably just about a month or so to go for completion. it doesn't smell till you touch it then it smells slightly, but if you rub a bud and sniff your finger, the scent is in-fucking-credible.

here she is

she isn't lollipopped by intention, rats ate off half the bottom branches -.-

figured out a lot so i figured i should update.

first of all, don't overdo the bone meal - limits mycorrhiza growth
and really messes with the plants; an excess of bone meal will
result in the plant showing iron deficiencies (due to the excess calcium
from bone meal and a higher pH if that isnt' taken care of) mg deficiencies
(same reason) and more than anything : RATS. rats come for the bone meal.

got a new mix that i'm going to be trying out
this is for indian growers ideally as the products
are readily available to us here

for 5 gallons (or 20 litres):

2 parts coco peat
1 part vermicompost
1 part bio farm
2 handfuls of neem cake
2 handfuls of pongamia cake
2 handfuls of cottonseed meal
2 handfuls of castor cake
4 handfuls of perlite/sand
1 handful of jaggery
5 tbsp bone meal
5 tbsp kelp meal
1 tbsp epsom salt

water till moist with humic acid/amino acid, at a concentration of a few ml/ litre of water
it just needs to sit outdoors and cook for a month...

Hey Elchupa,
Thats a good thread you got going on there!
I was wondering, being in bangalore, wether you managed to source quality ferts and amendments/etc. cause i know of a few places in bangalore/bombay that are decently priced and deliver, everything from expanded clay pellets to hydroponic ferts, i was quite surprised to see what they have cause i cant get a lot of what they have where i am.
Ive never ordered from there yet but ive been exchanging mails with the guys and they seem legit and have a store somewhere in bangalore
I dont know if i can post links but if you want more info just ask.

Peace

what're they called, i might know them...most of the places with hydroponic nutes i checked out in blr are bogus nutes, either very very strong, very very weak, or ridiculously poorly balanced...the one place i found that was flawless and run by people who know their shit is a place called GardenGuru in bannerghatta...you can always drop by the dept. of floriculture in bilekahalli, past bannerghatta...still need to make the trip there...

lots of plants i've got now, got a full time job and as a result i'm very busy, just trying out the 9-5 way of the world for a few months, i don't think it suits me very well...
dealing with a friend in NL and getting lots and lots of free hi quality strains in exchange for several quality indian seeds, as my man there is a sativa lover and grows several sativas and enjoys cultivating several and picking a good one.
Strains i'm cultivating right now include, but are not limited to:
Herijuana, Afghani, Colombian Gold x Jamaican Lamsbread, Great White Shark, Gambian Ryder, Sannie's Jack, Killing Fields, Anesthesia, Jackberry, Papaya (again! ;) ), and more.

A monk lived on a mountain and did not have much. One day he was out meditating all day and did not return to his shack until after dark. When he entered his home he surprised a burglar, who had found nothing of value in the modest shack. The monk said, "I am sorry you have come such a long way for nothing. Let me give you my clothes." The monk gave the confused burglar his clothes. As the thief walked away the monk sat naked looking at the sky. "Poor fellow," said the monk, "I wish I could give him this beautiful moon."

There were once two snails. One was orange, one died and one was named paul. So either the orange one died, the dead one was not orange but named paul, or paul was alive and orange. As there was no way to tell which of these possible combinations it could be, the story ended.

Yo, love your posts cabra, good information and experiences I can learn from. I´ve been an expat now for ten years and am starting something along your scale. Some of the questions are hilarious, so many people don´t understand that living in a third world country CAN be like living in a first world county, but its just different. Like I tell my friends back home, we got streets and stuff with cars, but theyre just different. there are fast-food joints and restaurants, but they´re different. We got malls and stuff, with shops, same clothes and whatnot most times, its just different. lol I think its from most americans not traveling as much to far away lands, not all of course cause you can´t generalize like that, but most at least.

I had a a guy at home ask me if we have phonebooks and microwaves. I just tell everyone I saddle my goat or mule up before heading to the country store to buy bread daily. And we use bartering systems with fruits and river fish, money doesn´t exist yet ;)

So just to clear something up, with your photperiod, your plants aren´t growing too tall? How are they tasting and the yield turning out pretty well? sorry man, 63 pages of posts on your thread, can´t sit still long enough to get through them all today ;)
