My PH Is Too Low, Now What??

So I tested my run off earlier this week and found it to be slightly acidic sitting around 4.5-5 PH. I flush with distilled water and I'm going to be watering tomorrow or next day. My question is if I PH my next feed to 7 will that bring my medium PH to around were we want it 5.5-6? I know about other methods to increase the PH, I want to know if a prodominatelly alkaline water feed will effectively decrease the acidity of the growing medium. I am using Pro Mix BX.

what is the initial ph of the water you are using ?

you measured the ph of the water that ran off your soil collecting all kinds of stuff, promix has ph buffers in it. don't put any water to low or to high on ph and quit worrying about ph.

I accidently put 4-4.5 PH water couple weeks ago and I'm assuming this is why my run off was so acidic. As for my feeds now I keep them 5.5-6 range. So I should just continue this and she should be fine?

that's a little low, promix should be 6.2 to 6.5
