It's fine to raise your soil pH up to a point at a time. When it is that low (below 5) and issues are apparent the problem needs to be fixed ASAP. Even once the pH returns to an acceptable range, it is still going to take a week or more before you see the plant really begin to recover.

Also not sure what molasses has to do with this. That isn't going to help with a pH problem. Healthy properly amended living soil will largely take care of itself in terms of pH.
yeah i know that, im telling him to use the molasses to boost his bud size got nothing to do with raising the pH problem just help to develop fatter nicer buds!! just telling him how i done by my experience in the last 40 days, if you look at my grow you will see the difference it made and how quick it changed throughout the grow pics!!! and now i used the seaweed tea i made and i noticed its growing even better again!! and my soil is still a bit acidic lucky if its at 6.0, 4 weeks of adjusting it slowly pretty much.. my buds are fat and stinky and full of trichomes im sure it could be better but im happy with the results, i had alot of help from experienced growers on here including yourself in forums i have researched!! Thanks Man You have been a great help!!
