my plant isnt growing but it isnt dying. now im lost.

Hello all. I'm new to this whole growing my own mmj thing. So please bare with me. I just got a 3 3/8 in nightshade clone. When I bought it they had it planted in MG. I know that was a mistake now. Anyway, I've had it under 24 hour light for a week , and it looks pretty healthy but it is still 3 3\8 inches. It does have very slight curling and 1 brown tip. What's going on. Nut lockout?

What kind of lights? The plant needs the dark period.

When I do a plant in dirt I put ordinary gravel in the bottom of my plantpot and I mix potting soil with good earth 50/50. I avoid clay based earth because clay has poor drainage. When you water your plant there should be seepage of water out the drainholes of the plantpot. Usually when a plant stops growing it's because the roots aren't developing properly. You need more frequent and smaller waterings and good drainage in your plantpot to get the roots going. After the plant has started to grow properly and has established a good root system You can place it on a regular watering schedule. Most potting soils come prefertilized.

Nevermind. I ended up flushing it as a last ditch effort and either the water or washing away the nutrients helped. It grew about an inch last night and started a new set of leaves. Thanks for all of the replys though.
