ok

1 - Don't use strong light bulds while the plant is pretty new because that could fry them
2 - You prob could get away with growing them with cool white flourecent light for a couple of months or few months
3 - once they are about 1 month old you might be able to kick them into bud mode using flourecent light.
4 - you can have a flourecent light going 24/0 for vegging
5 - you don't want to stat to feed them when they are to young

is it ok to switch to 24/0 if they have been on an 18/6? and i have a two foot flou light using a grow bulb from home depot is that ok?thanks for the help

it shouldn't hurt them by changing the light time from 18/6 to 24/0 and having the light on 24/0 will help your plant to grow faster because that's when they grow, I have my clones on 24/0 and I get new shoots and on one of my clones its full of new shoots and its proibly 1 month old

To maintain a fast growing garden, a minimum of 20 watts of fluorescent light per square foot is required. As long as the plants' other needs are met, the more light that the plants receive, the faster and bushier they will grow. The plants' buds will also be heavier and more developed. Standard straight-tubed fluorescent lamps use 8-10 watts per linear foot. To light a garden, 2 tubes are required for each foot of width

like it is out of the ground and it comes up and i can see one green leaf and the other is folded over the top of it so it just looks folded over but the green one on the bottom sticks out more and it is clearly visable...i wish i hadnt broken my camera ha
