My Plant Needs Nitrogen, Is There Anything in my Household That is a Source?

I started growing a seed that i had lying about and have spent nothing, that was my plan... I'm impressed by it's progress although it's stem seems a little flimsy, would there be any sources of nitrogen in my home i could give the plant or add to its compost? Failing that, could i just feed it a cheap high nitrogen plant food? There are no hydro stores near me btw so weed specific nutes aren't an option and I wanted to keep spending to a minimum. Thanks!

fresh light colored urine will do.... the donor of course should led a life free of other recreational drugs and/or pharmaceuticals

diluted as well.... 1 part to 50 parts of water to start, 1 to 10 max
once every two weeks should be fine


....or pony up five bucks and hit the wallmart, any hardware store, or grocery store....they bound to have some kind of ferts

your own urine is a good fertilizer and the easiest and cheapest.

if you decide to use it, just use bit, say 10 parts water to 1 part piss.

you can also use.

coffeegrinds, orangepeels (just make tea out of it.)
and quite many other things.

just google free fertilizers or something like that.

i dont know about the piss, maybe it depends on the donor.

i can put as much as i want and its a fair miracle worker, a really fucked up plant can recover in a week with just a half a liter of piss and some water. (maybe 2 doses in that week)
(thats a fairly small plant too and a small container, 3l maybe)
but i dont take any pills nor eat any fast food (cook my own pizzas and make bacon and eggs usually and drink milk)

and my piss is rarely dark and i havent tried using anything but the light coloured urine (pretty much a coincedence though, i might just use less of the dark coloured, its probably just has more nitrogen in it, judging by the colour, but perhaps something else too, somewhat different smell)

the real danger lies in the ammonia concentration....very similar to why many tea brewers have so much trouble by simply not bubbling long enough....some bad shit ammonia is
oh, and the salt build up in the soil from over application....also wrecks holy hell

it's pretty easy to tell when you are overdoing it though....ends up smelling like an outhouse....then the gals shrivel up

ammonia is a fertilizer as well (form of n)

ive never had trouble with using urine with the ammonia.

but its better to add the urine to the soil first, then add the water.

for some reason it gives better effect.

when i mixed urine with water first, it gave me some trouble.

but , you can also leave the urine overnight in an open container and then the ammonia evaporates.

(apparantly you can also ferment the urine, first evaporate the ammonia, then add some black soil to the urine (A handful) then close the container and leave for a month)

i go by instinct on how much to use. but i dont use that much, maybe 10-25% of what it would take to water a plant normally, depending on how much ferts are needed.

and since i use excellent soil from the beginning (6ph, black fluffy soil thats aerates good)
i rarely use urine, unless something is wrong or i need a N boost (again, rare, because of the good soil i use)

Thanks for the replies guys, I forgot to check back til now lol. I think I'll avoid using piss and just make the orange peel tea. I read somewhere that banana peels make good fertilizer, so I put some in the oven and mixed them in with the compost. Don't know if they worked or not but they certainly didn't do the plant any harm
