Jesus I wish my girl looked as good as urs I was da same picking those nanners of with a tweezers to but then I get F***EN seeds went back over my pics I have taken this grow and I had a male SSH VERY YOUNG STILL GREEN AS HELL!!!!! 5 weeks ago; draged its ass out there faster than u could blink nothing happened no signs of any thing going wrong and then hettin nanners on my main girl/guy now:-( and then F***EN seeds as with you spent a shit load on electricty and food and my grow space just wanna finish her off now :!: would you cut of da bud/stem with da seeds on it ???? I`m thinkin of it????

Will post some pics later From the time on this web page I`m 8 hours ahead lights come on at 5pm here. One other thing I fairly sure now it was light leeking from me desturbing the room my grow space is in u see its not fully light tight from that perspective; but if I don`t enter the room where my grow space is in on its dark time it is pretty much light tight alot more discipline on my behalf :wall:

Nah, I wouldn't at that point because its already done what its going to do. The seeds themselves aren't the culprit so much as the pollen in the bananas is. By the time seeds are appearing, the horse is already out of the barn. Even picking out the bedamned nanners wont really fix things so much as your just taking a stab at trying to reduce the pollen release somewhat.

There was a time when I refused to believe that an occasional light leak here and there surly wouldnt make a difference. Not anymore. You have to be very vigilant about light leaks and your lighting schedule and make sure nothing interrupts that. Sometimes we gotta learn the hard way.

An`t that the truth!!!! It is such a thrilll seeing something like what I have growin come from a tiny seed a novelty and a treat to smoke but have to kick myself in da arse and get tough on no more interruptions!!!!

Right off to take some pictures will post them in a half an hour or so

you can pick all the nanners you want but the ones between the bud and the main stem that you cant are the ones that will get ya. Yours looks good though. I had so many pollen sacs two grows ago it kept me busy for 3 hours when the lights first came on plucking them suckers off. Just keep at it and you will still end up with some good bud. Hermi bud isn't bad as long as its stress induced hermies. Them seeds are going to be a cross of female and hermie seeds so you might get lucky and have a shit ton of feminized seeds on hand. Don't pull the seeds out..just let them grow and plant them outside somewhere next year.

Hermi's are mainly dependent on their genetics. Some strains and phenotypes are just plain and simple hermi prone, others seem to be able to handle any kind of stress. Case and Point I've been trying to hermi a Maui Wowie for the past 4 wks, (started @ 2wk 12/12) I completely flipped its light cycle, gave it hr's of light during sleep, night after night of small continuous light leaks. Took it from indoor to outdoor. Intentionally wilted it on several occasions. Exposed it to temps from the upper 30's to low 90's. I did stress the shit out of it & stunted the plant & bud growth. But still no balls. and this is hard to believe because it is sativa dominate, and sativa's are much more prone to hermi, compared to indica's.

do you think a whiteberry clone is prone to becoming a hermie if its just sitting in my room under a 26w spiral cfl with a timer under 18/6 lighting. Like i close my blinds and stuff too???

Thank you for ur kind remark on me buds:bigjoint: I have allways been a worrier I guess I put so much time and effort into growing this lady/fella and when u see seeds u think da worst.
While im here from da look of her any guess as to when it will be harvest time shes still covered in cloudy trics and white hairs would 5 weeks be off da ball?????

Unless they're well hidden inside the buds, it doesnt look as though you're polluted with them though so it may not be so bad. I dont like any either, but like I said, and I can see your in the same boat, them girls look damn nice, you gotta run it the rest of the way now
I'd say you're at least a couple of weeks from the finish line, but different strains can finish up down the line faster than others.

Nice lookin at any rate

Its really been nice talkin with u over da last day or so. when those nans firsted appered I spent nearly 3 hours huntin them down it might of save me some trouble!!!!!.
This is only one plant only one girl/guy I think she can swell up more I think ur right though maybe 4/5 weeks would love to see some amber trics and see those pistles reseed mto da calyaxs before I start da flush.
Anyways its late here now 15mins before 1 at night gotta go get some zzzzzzz`s will check in da mornin goin fishin tomorrow wish me luck:sleep:

That sometimes is the worst part of developing Hermies, the danged plant can get somewhat satisfied by the pollen it gets from the bananas. Remember the plants basics, what we see as nice and plump buds swelling up is really a female plant begging for pollen and wondering just what the hell it has to do to attract some. When it gets some, the result can be a general reduction in its swelling.

Shit I get ya I think im suffering in a reduction in swelling gonna have to look at da trics more closley from now on then; looks like I have a few more seeds then I had yesterday didnt got squiging them :-(
shes still well covered in white hairs and cloudy trics

Yes yes and yes. Once the plant has seeds it doesn't care anymore, it has completed its goal, (which is a different goal than we had in mind). Let it go 4 wks at least from the time you noticed seeds forming. You will get a hi percentage of viable seeds, and it won't make a difference in the bud quantity, although the trichs will age and go amber with time.
I've gotten really good hash from hermi & normal seeded bud, so all is not lost.

And Cob I like your LR avatar. Got any bootlegs?
