My plants after 14 days

So i had these seeds for a little while, i googled and found a thread telling me the basics of growing. So i got a few plastic cups, bought some miracle grow and used the lightbulb in my closet. I know i should be using at least T5 which is what im going to get today when i transfer my plants into new pots but this is what i have so far. I germinated about 17 seeds, 13 germinated and as of now i have only lost one which germinated. Some are of course growing faster than others. Any suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT: to make it clear i started the germination process on the 12.
This is after 1 week

Today:

As you can see some plants are starting to lean over. im thinking this is due to shallowness and i should transfer them to bigger pots as soon as possible, am i right?

Bro they look like beansprouts get them repotted and as close to the light as possible also a little fan to blow a little breeze as this will create more resistance to the wind and creates thicker stems not to much wind if the plants have a little movement thats enough and bigger pots good luck!!

Just a little advice, your containers should be opaque not transparant. Roots like darkness, the green parts of the plant like the light. Some of those stems are really stretching too, what light are you using and how far away is it? I would agree that the leaning has to do with shallowness, and also that the roots are probly not fully developing around the outer edge of the cups. I would switch out of those cups asap, and definitely get a stronger light and keep it closer.

Im using a regular lightbulb, yeah i know. Im actually on my way to get some T5's and bigger pots, and a small fan for air circulation. I have the following questions:
- In this stage i read some people say 18 hours on 6 off, 15 on 9 off etc, so what should i really be at for this stage(i have even read as many as 25 on 0 off) .Can someone clarify how much light these should really have at this stage?
- Also, when i switch to a bigger pot, you guys said there stretching in the stem so how deep should i put the plants when i repot them, should i put them as deep as the first leaves(im not sure what to call it, whats coming out of the stems)?
-Last one im using miracle grow, should i continue or switch to scotts which i read is better because of the more natural pH, but im thinking this might be too big of a shock for these plants or would it be alright?
Thank you guys so far for your input i really appreciate it!

24 on.....for about 3 weeks, then you can just go down to 18.works for me.
I would bury them ut to the first set, but be careful not to pinch off the main stem by packing down the soil, and crushing it.Nice fluffy soil......
No miracle grow....not allowed to say those words...lol They wont need any extra nutes if you are using good soil at least for awhile.

I was very dissappointed with miracle grow organic potting soil.... huge pest problem with the little white flies.... I would use anything other than Miracle after that experience, but different strokes for different folks. I've also read good feedback about it(more bad than good though). Hit or miss. If u have a hyrdoponic store around you, look for foxfarm ocean forest, pricey but worth it. What you put in now will pay for itself in the long run (if all goes well). Also I would bury about half the distance between the cotelydons, which are the rounded leaves and the soil surface now, just to try and get a sturdy bottom for more veg in the future... 18 and 6 is the ideal light cycle for veg stage. some do a little more but the minimum should be 18/6. When it comes time to flower, 12/12.
