My plants lost their smell second week into bloom. Any ideas why?

Yeah or sometimes half assed where I pick off the bigger leaves, dry it, then go back and trim more when it dries a little

If you're smoking it, you can trim it as clean as you want to, but if you're cooking/refining it, I'd only trim off the big leaves with no trichomes

I don't smoke as of now, it gives me panic attacks. I'm trying to find a strain that won't. I have an anxiety disorder and alot of pain. I'm growing for dispensaries. Plan on making bubble hash and anything else I can. Tincture if I learn how. I had a buddy that was gonna teach me , but not anymore. So I need it right for others to enjoy and get relief. .

its not dry but im thinking about taking it down trimming the bigger stuff and putting it on a hanging rack til it's done. What do u think???

You can leave the leaves on there if you like. You will have to trim them down anyways later unless you like your buds with a bit of leaf material.

Will it hold in the chlorophyll if I leave them?? I trimmed the other wet and then shaped and beautified dry and put in jars. It's close, barely any leaf.

No they won't hold any chlorophyll other than what's already there. Leaving the leaf there also aids in starting the curing process. I would drop them in the paper bag when you think they are dry. Keep them in there for about a week and do then think about your final trim and jarring. :)

So use a bag instead of my hanging rack?
No, Use the bag after hanging dry to ensure that you have most of the moisture out of it before you jar. I do this just in case there are still some damp buds when most are dry. Paper bagging should help to even out the moisture.

I don't know what they feel like when they're dry. Do I follow the stem snap method like Jorge??
The stem snap is a good indicator. I like to take mine JUST before they snap and drop them into paper bags.

Do I leave them on the branches when I put them in the bags??
I usually snip the buds off with a little stem on them still. It will make bagging them MUCH easier. :)

You don't HAVE to follow this method but it's what I do for mine. You ask 5 different people and they will give you 5 variations of drying. All in all if it smokes good in the end you did it right.....enough. :)

Thank u so much ABM. How do I determine when it's just before snap?? Do the stems do something particular?? Do I trim it before putting it in bags??
