my purple power is not purple

so I am in the 6th week of flowering a purple power plant and it is the greenest lady I have ever seen. Does it change later right at the end?
I sampled this one and it is one of the worst smokes I have ever had. Anyone have any experiance with this strain?

many strains that exhibit colors other than green will not show these unique colors unless night time temperatures are "lower" than normal..

I am not sure exactly how cold it has to be... but if I remember correctly, it is the cooler temperatures that activate this color change.

Yes, colder night time temps will help bring out a plants coloring, no colder than 50 F, if it has the genetic makeup for it. Just cause you have Purple Power, doesn't mean you have a purple pheno. Now it doesn't have to be cold for the purple to come out, but it does move things along if you have the option to do so. I've always considered giving my purps 48 hours darkness before chop in a fridge, but don't have the resources right now.

Also, the coloring usually doesn't develop for most strains till late flower, so you still may have the purp.

yeah my purple urkle is light green atm 1 week into flower.

it's also good to point out that more than likely, most phenos will not show any purple. you have to grow them out to find your keeper, as with any strain.

it is the cold nights that lock out the phosphorus that make the colors the plant can show come out. Bring down night time temps slow through time and you can get temps pretty low without hurtin plants and colors will come out

you can make almost any strain turn purple when it gets cold enough it's the plants way of protectin itself the darker colour keeps heat in i watch it in a hightimes video

yeh im on my first purple grow (purple #1) anyone know the strain? and im 3 weeks into flower and its really green like yours. and suggestions on how to get it colder in my grow room anyone?

i got two plants in in 4th week flowering & mine isnt purple either
