well after the failure of the my first grow i have become wiser im not staring at my plants for hours everyday hoping it will somehow fast forward time ...but alas my second grow has begun i have three plants total, plant #1 is from sum bomb bag seed this shit is crazy if it wasn't compacted it be sum KB to the max (my moms got good hook ups ...shes a hippy lol) . Also plants #2&3 are from hydro my friend grew it was kill but the buds were loose and it had a few seeds i salvaged.Anyways plant 1 started about three weeks ago so its older that the other 2 plants which were started 2 weeks ago
Total watts 100, Total lumen's 9,000
Plant one- 3 weeks old has good strong growth its 6 inchest tall with 8 internodes . Also the side branches are about an inch as well over a vere healthy plant no signs of disease was supercropped yesterday. (pictures coming) another funny thing was that when this plant sprouted its leaflets went 1, 3, 7 never had one do that maybe its common idk .
Plant two- sprouted well hasn't really got going yet its on its 5th node coming up so its about to hit full on veg in a couple days.
Plant three- when it sprouted the sead leaves got to wet turned yellow and stunted its growth a bit its gotten over that and is on its 4th upcoming node
i used sum soft 3-12-6 liduid nutes every 3rd watering since week one for all but now for the older one i used sum 30-10-10 1/4 strength miracle grow
and have had a good response in growth rate i think she likeed it !
any comments on how im doing or any mistakes will help so please feel free !
The Setup
Lighting-
- Two 40 watt 3050 lumen T12 Fluorescents (6500k bulbs atm)
- One ecoBulb 30 watt ,2050 lumen's ,4200k
- One 24 inch T5 30 watts, 850 lumens 4500k
Grow Area
Its kinda ghetto but its not bad. (i don't have a camera or i'd put up pictures but im getting a camera tomorrow so i'll update)
the space is 4' by 2' and its about 3 feet tall it doesn't have a top i put aluminum foil (dull side out) on the inside of some cleverly manipulated cardboard and encased the plants with the T12's hanging over the top about 3 inches as for the other two lights i coustom fitted them to my cardboard peices and thier about 1foot up for now
