The thing is I got 4 small fans from a laptop but their wires are too short, so I will need a splitter
My question is what lamp would be better for my type of box: One CFL lamp or 2 energy saving like the ones from your link? :joint: :leaf:

Is that Super Skunk Flowering at like 10 inches :P?
Yes it is. Should it be bigger or they usually grow like that?

A little update: Can anyone give me links (ebay) what do I need to buy to put 2 bulbs in the box?

Dude, personally I wouldn't buy either. I'm not sure about this, but MH lamps need a ballast... That's gonna cost more, produce more heat, be more hassle. If you're going CFL, I'd take a moment to see what's been done so far using regular house-light CFLs, they're 1/4 the cost, so you can push a couple more in there for the same price. I'm currently re-jigging my box, it's a PC case, and it'll have 3 of these fixings mounted on the side of the case. http://ebay.eu/16WpdgB

Then I've just got 3 of these lights that fix in there. http://bit.ly/14u1KRQ

No doubt you'd get better results out of the MH... But I did pull just under an oz off the first grow, and pretty sure there next grow, with a few tweaks, I can grab a couple oz off it.

hey RedBoy, mewk69 is correct in everything he has told you, but if I may just tweak it a little, go with the ceramic adaptors but the screw type not the bayonet, I find they hold the lamp better. i like what you have done so, good luck and happy growing far :-) edit: obviously if you have already bought the lamps then disregard, if not then you would need to buy es27 type lamps.

No real advice on that front Red.

I guess if you've got a light and the correct holder in your hands... The temptation would be to just go forwards with it. I've seen a couple grows with those big lights, so would suggest you have a nose around in the forums and see if you can find another grow using a similar bulb. That'll give you more of an idea of whether it's what you want or not, rather than my cheapskate ill-informed opinion :P

My man, the thing is it's all me...who can't wait more days to make it all look good. They delivered this huge thing today and i just don't have an idea how i will fit it in as it's ENORMOUS!

I already paid 30 quid so they willl charge me god knows how much if I want to return the item(thus the waiting, it''s killing me)

Thank you all out there looking after my newbie growing ass :peace:

hey Red, that's the problem with the lamp you bought, its huge, if I were you I would still keep it, you may one day have a setup where you can use it. the site I use is http://www.green-lamp.co.uk/ I have found them to be prompt and the price is ok, when 1 of the lamps I bought broke, not my fault, they replaced it very quickly. all the waiting will soon enough be over and you will sit back with a neat grass spliff, chuckle and think, fcuking awesome. :-)

I hope on the same shit pal. I will try to stick this enormous thing into my...tiny box and see what happens. I have already wasted 30 gbp for it so there is no point of putting this thing into the old skeleton closet. The old small lamp burned some of the leaves of the big plant and now as soon as they deliver the lamp hanger, as soon the party for them plants will start kiss-ass (this sh8t made me LOL)

2013-08-22 18.07.23.jpg small update on this: Leaves got burnt from the heath of the lamp and the other thing I am affraid is that this plant got bigger than the box itself so...HEEEEEEEEEELP!!!
2013-08-22 18.06.42.jpg This one looks alright by now I guess, thus with the new lamp I hope it gets bigger
2013-08-22 20.24.15.jpg2013-08-22 20.23.21.jpg this is how the creepy shit looks like
2013-08-22 23.35.43.jpg I have added one really tiny laptop fan to the box as I am in a real need of fresh ideas how should i continue with growing this

Small update: The big one was growing bigger than the actual grow box size, so I cut the top and replant it next to the big one. It was a mistake I think as some of the leaves were too close to the lamp and got burnt :leaf:

hey red, a good lesson for us all, namely planning. you will learn from this grow and not make the same mistakes in your next grow, in this case start training her early. maybe put a scrogg net of some kind in your box now, at least that would stop her height issues. as for your next micro grow plant her on 1 side of the pot and train her towards the middle, that way you will reduce her height by 3" of stem then start lst`ing. hope this helps and you will still be smoking some good sh*t in a few months. good luck and happy growing :-)

Thanks for the pics. I am kind of confused, it looks like these were planted over 3 months ago......shouldn't they be ready for harvest? Especially the auto. For the bubblegum, yeah you shouldn't have cut it. Look up Low Stress Training (LST) for your next grow since you're limited in space.

Just starting my first grow so I'm learning as I go as well. Hoping you get some decent bud!

p.s. - long time stalker on here, first post!

I think they would have been ready for harvest if they were only outdoor or indoor. But they are kind of a mix as I had to put them outdoor when I was short on money for my box. I hope with the next grow everything to be fine. I am looking for a new seed bank so all recommendations are welcomed :peace: :leaf:
