I have currently been growing two plants for a couple weeks, one in the windowsill, one outside. They are just experiments for fun and I have absolutely no money to spend on equipment.
I had a close call with my plant getting crushed by a tree so I was really sketched. I brought it inside and mended it, It should be ok.
Then all of a sudden the idea for a really elaborate indoor grow setup came to me. I don't know how to insert large pictures in different sequences throughout my post so what I will do is put the pictures in order, and for each picture give a description of what I did or used. Tell me what you think!!
By the way I know it isn't recommended but I'm using miracle gro soil with:
Total Nitrogen- 0.21%
Phosphate- 0.07%
Potash- 0.14%
Picture 1- Is dark, but it's a picture of the light I'm using. It's a 3ft long lamp with a florescent bulb in it I got out of my garage. I'm not sure about the wattage, but It's white, bright, and doesn't give off heat.
Picture 2- A picture of the space between my wall, and my bed, where the plants will sit.
Picture 3- This is a picture of the space, but with white computer paper i taped down surrounding the perimeter, except for the side with my white walls of course. ( I know it's a dark picture. )
Picture 4- A picture of the lamp sitting above the space and to show how it will fit.
Picture 5- This is one of how it will look uncovered, with the lights going to work on the plants. The light is about 1 foot away from the ladies.
Picture 6- A gray blanket I'm covering it all with to block light from seeping out making it obvious that something is back there.
Picture 7- Finished product.
