My seedlings are burning under a T5????

I've never had this happen before but they look like they are burning. I'm using Light Warrior soil and have them about 3-4 inches away from the light. Is this light burning or nutrient deficiency?

hmmm, looks like they have streched alot any way not that helps in any way just saying, Have u gave them any nutes yet? also what is the ph of the soil?

Ph is 6 - 6.5 and I haven't given them any nutes yet because I never have in the past until they got a little bigger. Any suggestions on nutes for the little ones?

they're too young yet but I use soluable 20-20-20 at 1/4 strength.
Did you maybe have them under a humidity dome ?

T5's should be run at 6-8", 8-12 on those little girls. looks like a little nute burn from over watering.

Less heat (move the lights up) less water.

Yeah, they have an odd deep red/brown fall leaf color to them that I have never seen before. I'll raise the lights and back off on the watering.

Should I throw the humidity dome back on?

The 1st thing I would do is transplant,those containers have given me grief every time i used them.I would have already added weak nutes by now also.Get rid of the containers.

Thanks for your help all. I got them out of the containers they were in, transplanted them into some normal containers and watered with a little root stimulant. They are back to normal and happy.

I have a question about your question Hydrotech364. I'm using a soil that claims to have food added in. The bag says to hold off on adding nutes until growth has slowed. My question is, would you still recommend adding nutes at the same stage that Dbud's buds are at, though assuming that a soil with food is being used?

I ask because that is the situation I am in. Luckily the plants are fine and growing well, but I'm wondering at what point I start using plant food.

I usually start light nutes at the 2nd or 3rd set of leaves, see how they respond and go from there. My favorite soil for seedlings and clones is Light Warrior.
