My Setup, Need some Advice

Basically i have 2 - 240 cfm fans with 6" ducts (6 " inline fans) 1 has a silencer (blowing in). I have a small oscilating fan to get some extra airflow and my intake comes from the window (cold air) and it blows into my attic (hot air). I have a flowering tent and a veg closet the veg closet has a 240 cfm inline fan hanging and blowing on the light to keep temperatures down. both are under 600w (veg has 600w MH, Tent has 600w HPS) everythings going fine honestly, the plant in flowering got light stress from the initial transplant as u can see its double smart potted and i took some clones from her i started feeding her Bud Blod 0-39-25 2 days ago and shes getting huge.

I've got an entire bundle of advanced nutrients brand nutes and i like the way they work. last grow was on foxfarm soil and nutes and i just harvested them yesterday and only got an ounce. the new plant in flowering is in pro mix HP with advance nutrient nutes. The Veg Plants are in solo cups for now until i get some more soil and they started recieving voodoo juice advanced nutrients nutes yesterday and so far so good.


Basically i only have one real question, what can i do to stop venting cold air in through the window and to the attic etc. i have $200 to spend and i want to upgrade to where my temps stay at perfect temperature and humidity without this hillbilly ass ventilation system i got going. help please?


(Edit: I also use Pro Co2 Buckets hung above my flowering plants.)

(Edit2: The Flowering Plant is OG kush (same as the plant i harvested yesterday) its 6 weeks old and its 32 inches tall from stalk to canopy and it has 27 shutes its been topped twice and i keep the bottom 4 nodes pruned)


(Edit3: Humidity is 27% and Temp is 68 F . All based on outside temps because i have to buy stuff as i go for the simple fact i live paycheck to paycheck and dont have a choice.)

well no matter what you will have to vent up to attack but you can get a portable ac unit in the room to keep temps down and then nobody will see the window setup. only thing i can think of.

Im really not worried about people seeing i really just dont like the fact that my temperatures for my baby is based on what the weather outside is, it tends to stress her out. what would be a good way to replace both ducts and fans to make it almost perfect temps all the time. or possibly my tent is just shit? its a cheap 90 dollar grow tent so that could be the issue of varying temps

Well if you keep drawing in outside air you will have to temper it inside your grow space, if you pull it out of the attic you'll be hating it come summer. If you can draw air from another space in your home where the air can be maintained at a specific temp then you'd have a winner. I intake and exhaust directly from outside, but I have a heater in the grow space to maintain temps in the winter, come summer I battle warm temps.

Just a though here but maybe get a reostat/steady state speed controller for the fan/fans, that way you can adjust down how much air is being pulled when it is warmer and adjust up the air when it is colder (assuming you are in a warm climate). Might be the opposite if you are in a cold climate.

I have read that OG Kush is a very finicky strain but never grown it myself.

For total control of temps, I agree with DCobeen.

She was looking perky this morning after a gallon of water/nute mix, a heavy foliar spray, and a 12 hour down time, so felt like an update was in order.

There are now 30 + shutes and i had to garden tie her to the 3 foot bamboo stake cause she outgrew the stake and her size is causing her to lean.

I think shes excited for the 1000w super hps cool tube combo i just ordered. wont be long now, she needs to move to a new room shes outgrowing the tent.
