okay im looking for some advice on my soil as it is my first time. i purchased some pro-mix hp and some ocean forest by foxfarms. i was told that ocean forest can casue problems to seedlings because it is hot, so i mixed 24 cups of the pro-mixhp to 23 cups of the ocean foest to 3 gallon growbag. now will i have to add anything else? i have them under a 2ft 4 tube t-5 fixture. i have 5 of them going. i was going to leave them under the t-5's for like two weeks and then put them under a 600wattmh. Any suggestions on what i will need to add during the vegging period to my soil that will help out? and how much water do i need to apply to it?

I have almost the same setup going. I just have 4 ft floros. I have been using Fox Farm Ocean Forest without incident. I have heard of people adding perlite to their soil to make it drain better. I think you just add 1 part perlite to every 3 parts soil so it is like 1/4 perlite added. But the cuttings should be fine. I have mine in cubes for the first 2 weeks but I have germinated seeds in the FFOF too, so you should be good to go.
