Hey gang, I've been lurking and asking questions for a while now so I thought I'd share the system I've come up with. This is my second grow in this cupboard and far more successful so far.
I'm growing a Sativa dominant and have mainlined it so only 8 big colas coming off it. She's in week 9 of flower.
The cupboard is 650mm wide x 600mm deep and 1400mm from the shelf the pot sits on to the ceiling. Grow height from the pot could only be a practical maximum of around 750-800mm to allow room for the lights. The 2 exhaust fans in the ceiling are actually 4, with another one on top of each of those on the outside which then go through a filter. In the bottom left rear of the grow area (hidden by the front left corner of the pot) is the intake. I have a fan on the inside then on the outside is a small radiator (for a liquid cooled computer setup) and another fan. The outside fan pulls air in from outside the building and pushes it through the radiator while the inside fan pulls it into the cupboard. The radiator is plumbed to a pump in a reservoir and another pump in the reservoir circulates the reservoir water through an aquarium chiller. The bulb hanging down on the left side of the pot is an IR heating bulb. There's a 150mm oscillating fan and 450w LED lights. In the "window" on the left is a humidifier and a dehumidifier. Timers control the light and feed schedule and 2 Inkbird systems control temperature and humidity.
The system is an ebb and flow type (I guess) with a 15 litre reservoir under the shelf and the plant growing in perlite in a 15 litre pot which sits in a second "drain/return" pot.
