My Super (15 Ounce Every 2 weeks) SOG Grow Room

10ft x 10ft x 7ft grow room, with 2 1000w air cooled HPS centred in the middle of 20 plants either side, rotated and harvested every 2 weeks AL B FUCT style replaced by cuttings taken from 3 mothers, with 4" intake fan cooling 80% of heat from 2 HPS and 6 " intake from bottom room below and 4" extraction fan, with coco soil, and all the coco nutrient products, 20 plants come off every 2 weeks and give just under an ounce,!! will post pics in next few days when i get the time!! happy chonging fella's

try 4 600's. what kind of reflector can manage 50 sq ft? especially in a 5x10 configuration? is 15 oz an estimate?

its ok im happy with the 2 1000w, it doesnt cover the whole room, just the 4ft either side of the lamp, and the plants get rotated and moved regular so theres no issues with lack of light,, and no 15 oz isnt an estimate its what iv been getting for the last 6 weeks!, (3 harvests)

How are you dividing day from night, i.e. your clones from your flowering plants? There's no wall showing in your plan, but you must have something. Cuttings won't root in 12/12 and your moms flower or am I wrong (frequently!)?

What lights your clone operation? some CFLs or T5s? And are you doing flood and drain, hand-watering pots, what???

Sounds really great, though. Would love to see some pix.

the in a box iv made with mylar sheet to seperate the light from leeking out, mothers light is on 24/7 and for clones i have 3 20w CFL's, lights r off for first 6 hours that i take the cuttings then on for 24/7 therafter,, will have some pics by next week so your not left in the dark, just been really hectic,, its like having a fulltime job, and you dont get the weekends off!!! haha

you lucky bastard. this is what I have dreaming about lately. security and plant numbers have me witholding. Yeah, i was reading old Al's thread again and wishing I could do that in soil. I mean why not spreadt out 80 or so one gallon grow bags in a tent and harvest every two weeks, in soil! So easy to setup for me,lol. Lazy, hehe. Cool I am subscribed.

???? Indeed they will. At least my last 4 grows did within a week of cut... Just curious as to what makes u think that? Titties on the setup. Seems like extra work moving them around for equal light but it does let u spend time with them. Scribed

What strain are u growing? And how far up are the lights from the plants? I'm using 3 cooltubes and doing 40 also but in 3 gal. All topped so each plant has 4 colas, and I only get 12oz every 4 weeks...

im growing cronic right now, but it think i could get more! iv got a legends ultimate indica about a month old, when its old enough i will start taking cuttings from that and replace the chronic, lights are kept about 2 feet away from the plants, the beauty of cooltubes, so what wattage lights do you have ?, and you have half the plants i have so to be getting 12 oz every 4 weeks is good !

I think the question marks were mine???? I guess my reasoning is that 12/12 throws the plants into bloom and they would try to make flowers instead of roots. Cool if I'm wrong. I've seen lots of threads where folks put rooted cuttings into 12/12 but never fresh cuts.

I'm using 1000w and cropping 20 plants a month, I should be getting more so just gunna look for a big yielder, I'm doing juicyfruit right now but got some jamaican grape sprouting right now so when they get big enough I'll take clones.

15oz every two weeks? And your happy? i mean if you were harvesting 15oz a plant then we have something to talk about. maybe its just me but if your not getting 8-16 oz per plant then step aside bud and let the professionals take over.

you want big yields you need more lights. bottom line. 1000w isnt going to cut it unless its for 2-4 plants. damn read a book.

no pictures but a drawing?????? post some pics so we can stop all the hating?

I do have to agree with Shnkrmn on this one. I ran a grow journal test on this site about 3 years ago. I had two lights in flowering mode. One had clones that went right into flowering with Zero Veg time. Right next door I ran the other light with clones that had 10 days of veg time. The plants with zero veg time produced some nice dank buds, but the plants we just one long stretched stem with a Cola rapped around it, almost touching the soil. The other plants that got 10 days of veg time were about the same height, but they had 3-4 stems with nice dank buds, also almost touching the soil. They both produced about the same quality of buds. But the plants with 10 days of veg time produced about 3-4 times the buds.
BUT, with the plants with zero veg time, you could literally place the pots or grow bags right next to each other. You could cover the same area with about 70% more plants and produce the same amount of buds, maybe a little more. But, both illegal and legal grows have to be concerned about plant count. If you are illegal, the number of plants is multiplied by about $1,500 per plant and this is how they estimate the value of that crop, and how hard core they are going to try and nail you.
And if you are Legal, then you need to fit within the number of plants allowed. I am allowed to grow 15 plants. 15 plants with no veg time might get me 15 ounces at most. But if I gave that same 15 plants at least 10 days of veg time to set roots, I could get 30++ ounces.

Once again, it is what you are looking for. If you want a huge number of plants with just one single Cola per plant, then No Veg time is your thing. But if you want a smaller number of plants, you are going to need to give your plants some veg.
