my tape water ec is too high

i have tested my tape water with an ec meter and it is coming to 0.10 ec i want to try and get it lower ??
0.10 is a ppm of 70

does any one have any sergestions ??

tape water = tap water?????
invest in an RO system. but 70 ppm outta tap seems dandy to me. i've read peoples post on here with tap water ppms in the 300s and more. my tap here runs 130, no complaints from my plants.

70 ppm is not bad. If it bothers you get an RO filter. I have one but went back to using tap water at 170ppm because I get better results with it.

I don't think your really going to see any benefit thats relative to the costs of running a ro, your ec is actually low, most people sit around 0.3

ok sound if its low thats fine with me then :D erm i was just wondering becasue after i added the nutrients the EC should of been 0.35 but it was 0.45 so i was just wondering why it had gone so high lol but if its ok i wont bother getting a RO system thanks for the information

no worries. just read the thread bout "PPM Range" just posted, haha. "My PPM of just the water is 522-529"
