So I have been very secretive with my friends about my ideas for my new tat. It will be a 3/4 sleeve on my right arm. I know WHAT I want but NO idea how to have it arranged. I'm meeting with the artist in 2 weeks, when I do I want to go in there confident, knowing what I want and how I want it. Now these pictures are just for an idea, I won't be copying art.
The first picture is Hel from Norse mythology. According to the myths, half of her body is dead and decaying (as in the 3rd pic). I prefer the first picture as a basis on how I want to portray her in my tattoo. I want to show how beautiful she is along with her snake (which is usually on that skull-mase she is holding) I want the background to resemble the second picture, Starry Night.
My question is how should she be placed, how big should she be? Should I add more or just scrap the entire idea? I have 3 other tats, but this would be the biggest (and most seen) by far. I guess I'm getting nervous.
