I use bottled aloe vera juice.
I get orgnaic, make sure it has NO preservatives. Preservatives could kill the microbes.

like drinking from a fire hose, just get what you can and do not panic

You can get aloe juice online for around $10 a quart shipped.
It is good in the fridge for 45 days after opening it, so a quart is way too much for me.
A health food store near me has it for about $6 a pint.

Aloe is a fertilizer basically. I do not use it in teas, but in foliar feeding.

I have been using this for the last few weeks and like the results so far

1 QUART of water (I use RO water)
1 Tablespoon Aloe juice - no preservatives
1/2 teaspoon Liquid Karma (expensive I know, some do not like this stuff)
.8 ml of Pro-Tekt
About 6-7 drops of PH up to get it in the 6 area

I spray every other day, the bottoms and the tops of the leaves and the stems too.

aloe can be used as a rooting hormone, it has all kinds of nutrients etc

I have heard of aloe curing bleached leaves, which would be amazing if it is true.

aloe also has growth enhancer minerals like selenium. Sort of a turbo button for growth. Clones root rediculously fast using aloe as a cloning gel. 5 days. I get 100% cloning rate with my method

It would of been easier if I wasn't holding the camera (phone) and had 2 free hands. That was my first time using the video editing software I have too, Sony Vegas. I just spliced 3 videos together and I didn't really edit.

Anyway thanks for the kind words.

So this aloe vera juice, how much do you guys use per liter or gallon in your teas or when watering?

And for those who use it as a cloning gel do you just soak the cubes or growing medium?

Thanks in advance, never used Aloe before.

I grow my aloe and puree a few leaves and strain. I add 1/2 tbsp per quart. I don't soak any medium. Go to my thread. Link in my sig . 2nd or 3rd page from the last. I have a video for cloning with fresh aloe. When adding to water its for foliar and teas. Only add right when you use it. The benificials from fresh aloe break down fast. If you plan on storing it keep it in the freezer. Store bought aloe juice store normally.

Hyroot question for ya kinda diff from post but anyways my meter has 2 setups ppm500 amd ppm700 which is best to use with organics as I dont really even hear pom meter e teas and such

Anzohaze- EC meters are absolutely not needed in organics. We have no need or reason to measure dissolved solids concentrations. One less thing to worry about.

Properly made AACT's can (and should be) used full strength. AACTS shouldn't really have any fertilizers added anyway (just compost, water, molasses, and maybe a few other minor inputs will do). So no need whatsoever to measure EC.

As far as nutrient brews (like your Earth Juice), just don't exceed a couple TBSP per gallon and you'll be fine full strength (assuming it's an appropriate time to feed them). No need or reason to measure the EC of that, either.

Glad to help.

I've got that Atomic Northern Lights thread going, but I think I'm going to start another thread which will be a "catch-all" for all of the various goings-on in my little garden. Keep an eye out for that one soon, if your interested.

Google "Three Little Birds Earth Juice Tutorial" for a good read...

Anzo, you can get composted manure at Home Depot or Lowes, along with paint strainers. The worm castings you can get online. Non sulphured molasses online or Heath food store. I add kelp liquid to the milk jug when I delute the tea 4 to 1 with chlorine treated water. And in a cellar floor which is cool all the time. The tea doesn't have foan, add some molasses you get foam. Cheaper than bottle nutes. First grow and by " adviser" says to keep doing what I am doing from looking at the plants.

I do not get foam in my small tea batches and I add unsulphered blackstrap organic molasses (that is a mouthful).

I do not dilute my tea.
