My Vap Conundrum

I know alot of people say vaporizing is superior to any other form of smoking. I cant agree or disagree with that because i have yet to ever use one. However throughout the years i have used every other method including ALL the DIY quick pipes bongs out of plastic, pop cans ext... I spent a long time smoking from metal pipes with aluminum screens in my teens (cost was the main reason).

It seems that alot of these vaporizer machines still end up using a aluminum or screens. so i have to wonder why everyone is pro glass and using vaporizers but still end up using these metal screens at some point??

I know there are flame-less heaters usually out of metal, sometime glass but the only glass vaporizer i know of it the Eclipse Vape H2O:

Now i realize this isn't a conventional vaporizer but i like the convenient design however i do not like the aluminum it is attached to. Does anyone know of a similar design that is all glass and isn't over $300 or needing a flame-less iron to work?

I understand your conundrum, truly I do. So many vapes claim to be "all glass" and have a "ceramic heating element", but the vast majority of these use metal and plastic in the vapor path and most use nichrome/kanthal heating elements. The Eclipse, like ball pipes and lightbulb vapes, only really works for oil or highly purified chemicals, and can easily scorch if you arent just *perfect* in your technique and timing. Here's the thing, if you want a pure glass on glass vaping experience, the easiest way is with honey oil. Concentrate bowls/wands, ball pipes, and fritted discs can all be used to vape with >95% efficiency, little to no scorching, and an all glass vapor path. With herb, its a little harder - first you have to find one of the hot air vapes that isnt lying about using a ceramic heating element and has glass on glass connections. then you can replace those little metal screens with fritted glass discs or ceramic foam discs of equal size, ensuring a 100% ceramic vapor path. Avoid at all costs ecigs, pen vapes, and nails. They all press the herb or concentrate youre trying to vape against a red hot piece of metal (or sometimes glass in the case of nails), guaranteeing combustion. For a complete rundown of all vaping methods and utensils on the market, stripped of all marketing BS and simply and truthfully explained, check out my Vapor Volumes, especially the "Apparatus" section, which is linked to in my sig. There youll find a complete explanation of all the tools I mentioned in this post. Good luck!

Really simple this is what i imagine just an all glass piece that leads into the water bong. 1 stem 1 "bowl" and a piece of glass to hold them together

Those exist - they are called skillets or sometimes hot knifes/spoons. Works with oils/concentrates. They have some issues - they must be heated underneath with a flame (leads to easy scorching) or the oil must be smooshed with a hot knife, and the flat nature of the ledge causes the oil to run off the side and get everywhere. There are concentrate bowls as well. Its what I prefer, they are efficient, zero loss, and low to no scorch. They are similar to your standard glass on glass bowl, except the bowl is a bit on the deep side, and the holes are on top around the inner rim instead on top. This allows oil to collect in the bottom of the bowl once melted without spilling. To use a concentrate bowl you heat up a matching sized pyrex rod, called a glow/hot wand/rod, and poke the concentrate in the bowl with the warmed glass rod, vaporizing it. The wand allows for lower temp and more even heating than a skillet or globe vape that is heated from underneath. Much more info in my sig on this and all other types of vaping methods, check out the "Apparatus section" :)
