I think of it the otherway around. If i'm gonna put the time into growing i'm gonna use high quality regular seeds. Not to mention that if you grow regs and not fems you don't every have to worry about buying seeds again

i actually did this once, but it wasn't the initial plan. 4 years ago i had this dealer who had bud i really liked, and he had this strain for a while (whatever it was. who knows?) and one day i grab a quarter and it had about 7 seeds in it. this was around the time i was in the planning stages of my grow and at the time i really didn't intend to buy from a seedbank. i specifically bought another quarter less than a week later just so i would have a decent stash of seeds. they were perfect mature seeds and the bud was still pretty good.

fast forward to the present and that stash of seeds has given me 4 legit ladies of supreme bud. i just hacked one down the other day because it popped nanners everywhere, but i don't regret investing in those 2 bags of seeded weed one bit. i paid around 200 bucks for a half oz of herb (standard around these parts and i lacked other sources at the time) and ended up with over a quarter pound of sensi bud that was frosted to hell and was quite potent. i have over 15 seeds left and the weed i initially bought still got me high.

now, i would never again buy weed just for the seeds because i'm well stocked with good genes and clones, but it worked out ok for me is the point, and i didn't spend any more money than i would have if i just wanted a bag of weed.
