So what do you think would happen if I feed it to my plants with there reg nutes?
My water runs 465. It all depends on what's making the high tds. I assume you are on a well. Do you have white crusty buildup on your sink faucets?

If yes then you are looking at high salts like cal. If no buildup then it most likely is metals. Do you have rust stains in your sinks?

Check local water website to see what's in the water, and using a hardwater micro nute is recommended. I doubt it will affect plant growth much... Espcially if you've grown good ganja with it and without the tds meter before.

Just putting this out there, but did you calibrate the meter before using it? New out of the box doesn't mean it's calibrated correctly. That and the temp of the water can make a difference.

I'd use it, just means you won't need cal mag added. I had a friend who's water was over 800. Talk about scary

I'd still confirm it; the calibration solution is cheap and readily available online. You need to make a habit of doing so anyways. This goes for a Ph meter as well. Treat your equipment as if you were in a lab. Each time you try something new you will have the confidence your (Ph & PPM) results are accurate and not "well, I did this and this differently and got this result, but I'm not sure if my PPM was really correct or not". I'm sorta anal like that but, good science depends on having solid controls and reliable consistent test equipment. What meter are you using?
