Did it smell before you chopped it? You may have harvested too soon.Hello, i am currently drying my first harvest in a 1x1m tent with an average of 50RH and 24 C but it does not smell anything so i am starting to worry. I’m at day 4 of drying right now. Can anyone help me?
Squeeze a little bit of the bud then smell your fingers. Might be pleasantly surprised!Hello, i am currently drying my first harvest in a 1x1m tent with an average of 50RH and 24 C but it does not smell anything so i am starting to worry. I’m at day 4 of drying right now. Can anyone help me?
Yes it did. I think so tooDid it smell before you chopped it? You may have harvested too soon.
Yepp it is thanksIn reality you don't want to smell it while its drying. That would mean that you are having terpene lose through evaporation during the drying process. Hopefully once you touch the buds they smell delightful though. If they are grown and dried properly and harvested when ripe then the smell should be there, and just waiting to be released.
I knew lot of guys that only grew NL just for that reasonit could just be one of those strains that don't smell that much
Nice and you think that’s lol worthy huh? gtfoLol i know niggas that put mint sweets in with the bag for curing lol

When does the smell return, generally? I'm drying at a very stable 65° F and 52% RH, with indirect fan, intake and exhaust set to as low as possible for slow exchange of fresh air. Today will be 6 days and I can still smell the hay smell, though not as bad as day 2-4. Branches bend still, but not snapping so a few more days I figure. I'm pretty confident I didnt harvest early. Went by trichome development and ran 8.5 weeks on 7-9 week strains. Will the smell recover more in cure?It is normal for weed to smell sorta like hay when it's partially dry but the smell will return provided you did not chop early.
It should return after you reach a lower moisture content, like around 60% for curing. If the hay smell stays then it was chopped too soon. Pics? When does the smell return, generally?
