A lack of Mn can make the leaves turn yellow ... at least that is what I have read. I'm brand new to this, so sorry I can't help more.

Nitrogen deficiency makes the whole leaf turn yellow, starting from the outermost point and spreading in towards the stalk. Magnesium deficiency causes yellow blotches in between main leaf veins, eventually the whole leaf turns yellow with green veins. Check out the Plant Problems forum, there is a sticky with a link to a visual guide to plant problems.
