Once roots are innoculated with mycos the fungi establishes itself and forms a symbiotic relasionship with the roots. This will last as long as you do nothing to break this bond. I innoculate with mycos once maybe twice when transplanting when growing in soil. When innoculating roots with mycos direct contact is very important. Mycos live in the roots ryzosphere, which is a very small area, without direct root contact innoculation will not be successful. Also any salt based nutrients will disrupt the bond formed between mycos and roots. And to answer your question, mycorrhizal fungi can out live your plant and benefit future plants if you practice no-till farming. Imo orca, turantuala and all that stuff is way overpriced.
