mylar question

Im building a growbox, and im about to put in a mylar curtain in front of the doors. But, i noticed when holding the mylar up that i could see through one side - is that the outside cus it wasnt reflecting as much, or the inside because the other side lets light through?
someone help my stoned ass out please, haha

mylar isnt light proof ur talkin about the silver lookin stuff right if so its not that light proof panda black film is beter and cheaper

well, too late, i already got mylar, but anyone know which side is more reflective?

they should both be the same.. and mylar isn't light proof unfortunately as the last guy said.
You can get away with it as long as you are in veg, but either the tent has to be kept in a dark room in your house, or you'll have to add panda film or something.. it's easier to fix it sooner than later, if you need to fix it at all..

but either side of your mylar should be the same..

You said your going to use it as curtain? The back of mylar scratches off so you really need to attach to something. You could either get the panda plastic or if you have some black plastic you could always spray adhesive the mylar to that. < If you do this make it bigger than you need and then cut it down to size. And if you need another roll of duct tape I would get gorilla tape it much stronger than regular duct tape.
