Mystery Seed in PC GROW (LST, DWC)

This is my first grow learning as I go along in a small pc grow case that I built. I eventually want to buy a tent but thought I should make sure I dont fuck it up first so here I go lol.

Bought an empty pc case, changed fan locations with 3 speed switch on intake/exhaust, lined the inside with mylar, purchased 2 105w CFL bulbs(1x 6400k, 1x 2700k) I am in the process of making the dwc tank small enough to fit inside my case and without losing any room.

The seed is a mystery that my buddy had lying around so it will be pretty cool to see what it turns out to be.

Since I have such a small space I decided to try out low stress training can anyone tell me if I have the right idea in the picture?

feel free to correct me if i am wrong, but i was under the impression that with low stress training you wanna wait till at least the third node to start the LST, unless this is your anchor then you would be on the right track, but it still seems a bit too early to start.

I removed in within an hour cause I freaked out I was doing it wrong and didn't wanna fuck it all up lol I am buying the rest of the shit to finish my dwc bubbleponics tank does anyone know a good technique for transplanting from soil to hydroton?

Well I finished my bubbleponics set up but I think I am going to hold off on transplanting into it ill use it for my next grow I dont wanna fuck it up it seems to be doing ok right now heres some updates.

i've never done DWC but after some research it looks pretty cool. About transplanting from one medium to the next i dont have an answer for you sorry.
-leaves curling- mine have done that before depending on how close the plants are to the light, nothing bad resulted from mine when they did that. To be on the safe side if you are worried you can just move the light back an inch or so but i wouldnt worry too much about it. I'm curious about this DWC system, keep updating.

btw i know you said it was a mystery seed; are you thinkin a bagseed or actual fem. seed? just curious

Any particular reason you decided to germ in soil and not rockwool?

I don't think it's widely practiced, so there aren't really any established 'techniques.' Just rinse them in moderate temp ph balanced RO water...GENTLY.

I am going to wait and start my next grow using it too sketchy for me to transfer but thanks and I'll be using rockwool next time lol +rep
